I bought a washing machine from Great Eastern, Alwar Rajasthan on 14.10.2025 vide invoice number R5222/2526/01923.
Next day when the technician came to install the machine, he told me that the machine was defective. He also made a video of the defect. We talked to the dealer and he said that he will get it repaired. He also talked to the technician.

We have bought Daikin FTL50UV16U2 1.5 TON 3S Split AC I/D on 27.04.2023 in the name of Bidhan Chandra Sikdar.

For last few days, the AC is malfunctioning as water is splashing out of the machine. We reported the same to GREAT EASTERN SINTHI MORE BRANCH yesterday i.e. 29th August as the machine is within warranty period.

I have purchased a refrigerator on 6th April and its already 5 days over but still not received my order.

This is to raise a complaint against Great Eastern Chinar Park.

We bought a Fridge from Great Eastern Chinar park which came damaged on 2 sides. The replacement is supposed to come today[protected] but received a call that it is not IN STOCK and Great Eastern not willing to refund the money. This is leading to harassments and mental agony, would request Great Eastern to reverse the transaction and refund else will be forced to approach consumer court for the harassments.

Respected Sir/Ma’am,

I attach the invoice as proof of my purchase of a 2 ton inverter air conditioner (O General Fujitsu) from Great Eastern Retail on Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata, West Bengal.

The sales person authorized to represent O General at Great Eastern Retail supplied me the cellphone number of the regional sales manager and I was asked to discuss all matters related to delivery. Well, the number wasn’t that of the current sales manager of O General.

The phone number belongs to a gentleman who is not working at O General for quite sometime. But he was most considerate and helpful. He gave me Mr. Rajib Das’s cellphone number.

Here I need to acquaint you about some facts - I had requested both Mr. Das and O General’ representative to please accommodate me to the extent that since I am remodeling my place, could the air conditioner be kept at Great Eastern Retail’s warehouse for some time? The only reason being - - -

I am nose deep with the remodeling project…masonry, civil, electrical, carpentry, tile installation just to name a very few. I did not want my brand new air conditioner exposed to dust, mortar, and all the rest of it.

So yes, I did request for delivery at a later date. Now that I need delivery of the air conditioner, I have not been able to get through to anyone. Mr. Das, unfailingly rude and grouchy, told me to get in touch with the store. On calling Great Eastern, I get the answer, the person who wish to speak to is not around.” “I will ask him to call you at the earliest.
That hasn’t happened till date.

I have called and texted O General regarding the harassment and extremely abrasive behaviour of Mr. Das. Nothing much happened to righten the situation.

I General’s sales representative couldn’t be bothered to answer my calls and on one single occasion I got to speak to him, he offhandedly informed me that delivery will be made yesterday. Needless to say, I haven’t received my air conditioner nor notifications, texts, SMS, email or calls on my cellphone regarding the delivery.

The O General’s representative brusquely told me “how am I supposed to know when the delivery will be made?” Then he added “maybe around 02:00 to 03:00 pm.”

I called O General’s sales representative this morning and true to form, he did not answer nor rerun my call.

Shopping for most part is supposed to be pleasant, enjoyable experience. My experience with O General has been far from pleasant. It has been and continues to be frustrating, annoying and exhausting.

All I want to know is when will the air conditioner be delivered.

I have ordered the Godrej AC on 16th Aug, 23. Got delivery on 20th and installation on 22nd. The outer part was defective, they said they will replace in next 2-3 days and we are still struggling with the replacement.

I don't understand what type of customer service they provide. Anyone cannot wait for a whole month for an AC to get functional after purchasing. And even on call they are sounding as if they give a damn about it and providing it for free. They are harshly talking, have no manners.

We have paid the full payment on 18th june'23 for the fridge and the salesman assured that within 2days we will get ours fridge but we got the delivery of the fridge on 28th of june'23 which was after 10days and again the fridge which we got was dent in two areas upper door and the lower door of the fridge.So we told then to replace it and then again they gave the fridge on 30th june that too also having scratches and spots all over the body, sticker is also present which was used in the showroom and its pretty old looking like.And for this we asked them to replace the fridge and give us the proper fridge but still they are not replacing it even though the manager is also not receiving ours call.Though we have waited so long than theirs promise date but still we didn't get the good product.We are facing so much harassment due to them.Kindly help us in replacing the fridge with a good one.They gave us the old product with scratches and spots in the fridge.We have continuously asked them to replace but they are not responding.We want the replacement.Kindly help us

A t.v. of company Metz is booked on 14.05.2023 and full payment was done on that day, but the product is not even supplied till 16.05.2022. Even the salesman of the showroom is not taking calls. I brought 2 AC's from Great Eastern Trading Co Durgapur West Bengal ( Pin code -713213) on 17th April 2023. They committed while buying that I will get the brackets free for outdoor Ac but at the time of installment the service men took the money of the brackets from us (Rs 950 each). Now when we are asking them about the free offer they gave while buying, they are clearly denying with rude behaviour.

This is not at all accepted from such a big company. Their is no commitment. And when asked they are not even attending us properly, literally they are behaving very rudely. I would not recommend anyone to go and buy from their from now on.

The store manager and the sales man " Hanif Khan attended us and they are now clearly denying and misbehaving with us.

I would request the team to take action against this and give justice to the normal citizen who trusts on their word of mouth. I will very grateful to you if proper action is taken against this.
