Mother Dairy — Charged more than printed MRP | |
The MRP on a half litre packet is mentioned as Rs.12.00 and the shopkeeper in Powai 'TRINITY GENERAL STORES', opp Trinity Apartment, near Hiranandani Hospital, Hiranandani, Powai-400076 charged me Rs.12.50 - I want to know why I am made to pay more than the printed MRP. I am not sure how much anyone will bother answering my question but as a consumer I am being cheated. Was this information helpful? | |

Hi,The milk dairy shop is charging us more than the MRP.
If we ask him not to charge more then he replies "lena hai to lo ya mat lo".
Please help us ASAP.

mother dairy milk — charging Rs 2 per lt above MRP
I am a resident of Andheri East , Pump House, around Nirman Towers. We are required to pay Rs 2 per litre more than the MRP to the retail shops selling mother dairy milk or for that matter any other company's milk. It seems that they have formed a cartel and are making us pay higher than the MRP.The reason given by them is that they get this milk at the printed MRP and are selling at Rs 2 per litre more than that as their profit. I would request you to check for yourself from shops near Royal store around Nirman Tower.It is highly unreasonable when there are advertisement that we should not pay above the MRP. The company can do something and make arrangement to supply milk to consumer at MRP.
