Delay in refund on security Deposit after treatment

Address: Powai, Mumbai

My wife (MR[protected] had undergone treatment at Hiranandani Hospital Powai on 2nd Mar 2023 and got discharged on 5th Mar 2023. All expenses related to treatment were paid and processed by my Insurance company.

Hospital has still not processed the refund of security deposit Rs 10K inspite repeated reminders....

Sorry for the delay in submitting the said request as discussed i am unable to continue with rehabilitation as most of my work is out of station and hardly i stay in Mumbai
My humble request to please refund my fees by discussing to the management (Copy of the invoice has been attached for your reference) fees was paid in full but could not attend any session due to personal reasons

Appreciate your support in getting the refund of my fees as i am financially having a tough time

    I am Shaji. I have been stixking with your hospital for the last three years. As all know, even the price tag you pose is on higher aide, I used to have servuce from your end cknsidering the quality and well behaviour of doctors. For the past three years, i had viaited hospital many times for curing mine and family health issues. I had a very pleasing and wondeeful experience so far. But on[protected], becuase of fever nad throbbing pain in abdomen, i just walked in to the cabin of Dr. bhushan in gastro department. The consultation and his behaviour was very pleasing. He prescribed medixines and asked me to go for few test. As it was time consuming part of the chexking i did from Powai hospital and rest from Hiranandhani hoapital. Today on[protected], whwn i gone to submit my report, he straightaway furiously shouted for conducting half of medical test outside. Then even without further discussion he xonxluded the session. Wholile leavibg i asked him the medical certificate which I need to produce at my corporate office. Because of diarrhea and throbbing pain in abdomen, for past two days, i had taken off from my office. Today i have to spare another day specifically for further consultation and medication. And the pain atill persist. But shockingly he straightaway refused it. If i go out, there are numerous doctors who give certificates for petty money. I dont want to do that. This kind of behaviour we are been given after paying almost 60% over the price compared to other hospital. Now I strongly fear future coupling with your institution wont go smooth.

      Worst telephonic service. Half of the time when we call the hiranandani hospotal at powai its just keeps on dailing and no one picks up and even after pickup if we ask for transfer to other desk its either hunged up or after sometime if no response from other team they hung up.

      Secondly on 18thaug 22 i called to check if daycare is opened on 19thaug22 and they said yes... I was sure they screw this up so called one more time to confirm and even second time some other person confirmed.
      When my mom went there for port cleaning (just 15 min day care routine) the haed nurse said its closed.. she requested so many times that it was fault from your department still she didn't allowed here and asked to come next day.

      Ecen if we enter hospital guard stops and asks why and where u need to go... It's like someone came to hospital for timepass or roaming...

        Mr. Prashant Poyrekar working with your Thane branch is intentionally interfering in my personal married life. He was earlier given verbal warning by his HR person Rashmi. Still his interference with my wife in my personal matter is not justified from past 1 year. After speaking with him earlier before and was asked to stay out of my personal married life and to mind his own business, he doesn't seem to understand my language. Your hospital staff was not taking my written complaint so I was forced to go online and submit my complaint.

        I hope this time some action will be taken by hospital management for my complaint, or else i will be forced to taking legal action against him in local police station which will spoil hospital brand name in my personal fight.

          I am sending this letter to file a complaint against Dr Sharat Shetty who sits at the dental department, he is an implantologist. My nephew went to the doctor to get his consultation regarding his upcoming implantation procedure, but he was hardly given any time by the doctor, moreover, he was refused monetary details regarding the treatment by the doctor, when asked more upon it, the doctor asked him to first confirm his treatment with him. Such unprofessional demeanor by a doctor, that too in a hospital as highly revered as Hiranandani, is not only disappointing, but also gives very wrong message to the people getting treated there.

            My patient was admitted to Hiranandani Hospital Powai on 28th Feb 2022 for a normal delivery of the baby. She was under care of Dr Vaneeta Raut in Hiranandani Hospital for the entire maternity period.

            First of all, on the day of delivery (28th Feb’22), she was taken into the labor room at 1:30 pm but not a single staff (nurse or doctor) attended to her before 5 pm (citing the reason of another operation going on). Upon that we requested that patient’s mother along with her husband be allowed to be with her till the time the doctors team is available. However, the floor guard asked for “incentive” to let the her in. Upon protesting to this demand, he even didn’t allow us to wait in the lobby which is the designated place for attendants to wait at. The PRO office was closed and no personnel were available to address the issue. Given our situation and criticality, we gave up and ended up paying the guard on the floor after which he allowed the patients mother in.

            In the early morning on 3rd March, the patient started feeling pain in her lower body and her legs started swelling up. Upon informing to the doctor, she asked us to prepare for a surgery on 4th March. It was told to us that the patient had contracted infection but despite asking multiple times for the reason of this, no answer was given to us. The patient was under complete care, observation and responsibility of the hospital and doctor and it is their responsibility to inform us the reason for such a mishap.

            We are still awaiting the hospital to give us an explanation to this and own up to their responsibility.

                  Mr Dhruwa Kumar (MR[protected] underwent Executive health check on 27.09.2021.
                  The reports have been received from the hospital on 29.09.2021 (today).
                  The blood test report took us by a huge surprise when we find that the report is showing his blood group as O+ve which is wrong.

                  We now have doubt on the entire report and express serious concern on the quality of health check performed by the hospital.

                  We are challenging the quality of entire health check procedure and the authenticity of reports issued by the hospital, and seek detailed explanation from the hospital management with corrective action plan by 30.09.2021 failing which a legal action shall be initiated against the hospital.

                    I would like to bring to your notice that the Hospital has charged us over and above the cataract package which was decided for 29000/- rs and also harassed us during the operation .

                    I would like to narrate the entire episode of how they treated during the operation .

                    When we reached to desk they asked for Whether you are having insurance and whether the additional approval is coming .I said I don’t know for which they said ok.

                    Then they asked for deposit of 7500 rs/- for which I objected since when they treated for Right eye ( insurance was of my Brother which we availed ) they took 5000/- rs deposit .

                    Then they asked for as per package to pay remaining amount of 4122 /- rs which also I Paid .

                    When I took my Mother to the cath lab 1, there they started taking blood and told that they need to do HHH test and all for which I objected since it was done just 10 days back .

                    Then when they came to know there error they didn’t send sample to the lab . But they have unnecessarily took blood sample of my Old Mother .

                    Now during the discharge I completed all formalities and then when I went to the counter they told total is above 33000/- rs and I need to pay additional 4745/-rs,

                    I asked for what I have to pay again when during the first operation it was done in 29000/- package, how this time it will increase when the same procedure is done, they had no answer they were talking about consumables .

                    I asked our doctor Chaitanya Vemu she was also clueless and was not able to speak . Then when I called MDIndia and you told me that you will ensure reimbursement of additional amount .

                    But few Questions still going on in my Mind,
                    1. if the package was of higher amount then why the Hospital didn’t send for AL approval of Higher amount ?
                    2. When they operated for Right eye, they took 5000 rs deposit and 4000/- as copayment of my brother insurance then why this time higher ?

                    I am feeling cheated by this Hospital, there’s something wrong going on in this hospital and I would like you to take actions against them.

                          Consultation and MRI & CT-Scan Film

                          I had visited Dr. Vishal Chopra as I had an appointment with him on 10th March 2021.This was my third visit to him and I am following his instruction regarding the follow up, but this time when I was charged Rs. 1000 as First Consultant where as this was a follow up visit. Please look in to the matter as I should have charged Rs. 700.

                          I have also not received the films for the MRI and CT Scan which was done on 12th September'2020...

                          Yes only when patient show there iit id card at the billing counter.

                              This is very pathetic that no staff is available for covid test of 10month baby and because of this we have to wait from 3am to 7am in procedure room without any aid with our only child after the test only our baby will get admission in hospital

                                Hospital unable to provide Invoices

                                Hi, I had booked video consultations a few times for me and my wife in the month of October. We have been trying to reach Hiranandani Hospital Powai for the invoices of the payment we made for the appointment but they have failed to give one.

                                One of the latest reason we were given is that they have NOT provided invoices to any of the patients since Oct 1 and hence they cannot provide it to us too.
