[Resolved] Motorola Pda Phone A780 — extreme apathy and technical incompetence of kolkata service center | |
I happened to be a great endonser of the motorola products until a coupe of incidents left me absolutely disgusted with it. I am given to understand that the workhours of the kolkata servicecenter are from 9AM to 5pm IST and I happened to go there looking for a battery at about 5:30PM.This was primarily due to the fact that I live in a place that is fairly far from kolkata and did not check the worktimings in detail.I could have been a little rude,but that was the end of things until my display wouldn'd work and I revisited the same service center the next day - 31st January ,2008 and was told that the entire display needed to be replaced and that it cost Rs.5700.My financials aren't exactly in the pink of things and walked out a disappointed man. I spotted a man sitting on the pavement opposite my temporary residence and he fixed my problem for rupees 100 only. following this incident,I have lost faith in motorola intoto but thought that after having used their products for aeons, I deserved to tell you of my experience.They might need to address the attitude and competence of workforce deployed in the kolkata service center.
