[Resolved]  Mts — Bill after cancellation

Hi,

I have already did the MTS bills payment settlement and given a official letter to disconnect the connection to one of their executive. After that again I received the bill and once I contacted to customer care, they asked me you don't have to pay any bill.

But after four month, day before yesterday I got a call from one advocate and they told MTS has sent you a legal notice regarding the bill payment and you need to come court. Then, he told if you will do the payment in 1 hour, he will settle the issue out of the court.

As a normal person, I just scared about these things and did an instant online payment to get rid from this issue. But, the payment which I made was extra payment for the completely false bill. I told the same thing to that person who called me and he just asked to contact MTS CC or raise a complain on consumer forum.

When I called to nearby outlet, they told everything was fine from you end and you don't have to do any payment. The executive make the delay in submitting the cancellation form and bill has generated. So, you ask him for the refund and when I called that executive, he told contact to outlet person regarding this. This way, I trapped by MTS.

Now, I am not understanding what to do and where to go. And, also what I should do regarding that legal calls which completely tensed and scared me. If this is not going to solve, shall I do a FIR regarding this or I should meet some legal adviser.

Recently I had an major accident and I am not suppose to walk much. So, this making me more trouble to go and contact every person or outlet or any legal advisor.

Please Suggest what action I should take in this situation.

Mts is hell as looser I will drag them to consumer court I took advance rental plan 3 month advance payment and got disconnected in 2 and half month and now asking for 1700 bill and total usage of my net will not be more than 100 Mb becoz there is no connectivity of net on my area now i will file and there executive use abusive language like saale ther ko legal notice dunga ruk ru ab

BLR — Bill after disconnecting the connection

I was using bangalore airtel connection[protected] till january 2008. I have given request for canellation on 31th January 2008, after that I got bill of January, i.e from 02 Jan 2008 to 1st Feb. I have paid that amount also.

After one month I got a bill of February 2008 i.e from 02 February to 04 February. I don't know how come this happen after that I mailed to them and also called to customer care. Till now I didn't response and also I didn't get the deposit amount of Rs.300.

I have got a bill and legal notice after one year of payment and proper cancellation of MTS Data Card. Our A/C No.[protected] and Mobile no [protected].

The complaint from the MTS is that we have not paid the bill and we did not cancel the service properly.

We do not accept this complaint as it is not true. We got the MTS internet usage data card on the month of September 2011, from Sangeetha mobiles, Ghandi Bazar, Bangalore, with a smart phone. They said that there is an offer as we can use unlimited internet using MTS datacard for one month. And the card was activated on 20th September 2011. We purchased the card from Mr. Anwar (MTS Rep - [protected]). This connection was bought in the name of R. Victor Arokia Raj for my brother R. John Various.

But we got a bill from MTS within 15 days from the activated date stating that we have to pay the amount. We called the customer care and enquired about this and they informed us that there is no offer as said to us by Mr. Anwar but only 200MB was free and the rest they have billed us. And hence we were also not satisfied with the service and planned to cancel the service. But in that one week we got continuous calls from the MTS customer service asking for the money. The bill amount was Rs. 332. Finally we paid the bill (Rs. 332) and cancelled the connection by giving the application to one of the MTS franchise in Bangalore (Address: Arham Hosteries, 3/6 Hari Mansion, Bull Temple Road, Opp. Uma theatre Road, Chamrajpet, Bangalore – 560018). We got a receipt also for the bill paid but did not get an acknowledgement for the cancellation since the person said that the form should go to the MTS corporate office and only they will send the confirmation mail to us. But we did not receive any kind of such mails. All these happened in the month of November 2011. Unfortunately we misplaced the bill somewhere as we thought everything was fine since it happened a year ago. The next month we got a call again from The MTS customer service telling that they got neither the application nor the payment. So I went again to the franchise asking them for the same. They said that the computer had some problem and they could not send it before and they promised they will send it by that week. From then onwards we dint get even a single call from MTS. So we thought it is all over.

Now suddenly after one year we have got a Legal notice from MTS stating that we have to pay the bill amount of Rs.3180 within 7 days by cash or cheque. Again we went to the same franchise where we cancelled the service to get a proof. But the franchise is on leave for 10 days so we couldn’t prove it.

WE got this letter on 13th November 2012. So we sent a reply to the advocate naming Ranvir Vats, Tis Hazari court, Delhi on 19th November 2012. We got a call today (22nd November 2012) from the advocate office for the payment. And we tried to explain whatever happened but they where not ready to listen and they disconnected the call.

Our question is we dint even get a single call from MTS for the past one year and how could they file a complaint on us stating that we have not paid the amount etc ( We got n number of calls from them in the 1st 15 days that we should pay Rs.332 and now not a single call).

Please suggest me a solution.

My data card was disconnected on 15th Nov 2012 and I informed to MTS by emails & calls regarding the speed issue I m not interested and pls disconnect the services they did the same, but as sudden On Thursday[protected] @ 11:15 am I got a call from one advocate(Mr. Ranvir Vats) and he told MTS has sent you a legal notice regarding the bill payment and you need to come court in Delhi today by 11:30 am, if not then some legal officers will sending for to arrest you. Then, he told if I will do payment in 15 min through online payment, he will settle the issue out of the court. MTS is probably one of the worst offenders among telecom companies in India. I wanted to file a lawsuit to them but I don't have time to. The surely need to do business as per the norms and policies of the country. They are the worst cheaters in India. I recommend to each and everyone that never go for MTS connections. I had to pay twice the bill first when I got rid of my connection and then they sent me the legal notice when I had already paid the bill.

2 day back I also get the same legal notice from some Ranvir Vats, I have tried calling them but no one picked the phone even company number provided there was wrong.

After having so many issue with MTS, suddenly after 6-7 months I received this letter, before that there was no communication from them.
I had the unlimited plan but never able to use it work slower then a 2 G phone...

The Biggest mistake of my life bought a MTS postpaid Mblaze MDN[protected] and ACC no[protected]. i used for 2 months and speed was like hell. then i stopped using they asked for bill. i gave them 1000/- and got full-final settlement letter from them. later they again called for bill payement then i told them my receipt number and letter replied they will not bother me, some months after one mam called and asked about bill payment same told her about receipt and letter, she was satisfied.then one day call came to me that we speaking from ITO policestation u havt paid ur bill of MTS and bla bla...
Now i m getting legal notice from Ranvir vats from tees hazari court that MTS has filed a case against you

I am also getting similar call from this fake advocate Ranvir Vats in bills pending against Reliance communication.they called this company as RMS private company.they are calling me continously and pressurising me so that i pay the falls bill of reliance..

Thank you for sharing all the details.

In spite of having speed problem, costly service, I used their services for almost for a year. I paid all the installments regularly.
And they have shown me their fake color now.

I got the same legal notice from Ranvir Vats stating that I have not paid the bill amount. I stopped using MTS since 23rd October. Still they have generated a bill for November month and they are claiming the amount of 2500.
I checked the address and phone numbers in the fake notice. Both information was completely fake. even Google didn't recognize. Instead of INDIA, it shows in united states. How much fake these people could be? Its out of limit. They are troubling us in various ways.
this is not a way to deal with any customer.
When they approached us for the connection, they were like, ready to do everything, they promised alot and at the end they made us suffer from worry and tensions.
I have a strong feeling that MTS is trying to threaten people and collect extra money from their customers. I would like to shout and announce that MTS are big cheaters.
I would request all not to buy any services from MTS. As this people should get punished for all these fake & illegal actions.
And if we get any such notices, we all should not pay out any amount. Instead of this we all together can take a legal action against Ranvir Vats and MTS, who are the creators and responsible for this illegal actions to threaten their customers.

Where Can I complaint about MTS?
I got frustated by such threatning calls, after my data card stoled i stopped the service by informing MTS call center now. they want me to submit the bill why should i submit the bill if i not used that data. Just now got a call that i have to present at Patiala court Delhi on 10 of january
if not they will issue a warrant against me.Please reply what should i do.
i am really fed up, MTS really disturb me. I there anything that i can do to MTS. Why should i pay the bill if i m did not use it.How can i apply to consumer court or anybody have any solution so they stop calling me. Is FIR against them is a solution ? Please do reply .
Yes i am also victim of MTS. My dongle is not working and its been more than two weeks not a single person has come to instead of my calling 5 times to their customer support. On the contrary other day a lady called in and asked to clear the bill of my MTS. when i told her my problem she was not interested. Their customer service agents are very pathetic.I have recorded all the calls to customer support. After reading all the fruad that they have been doing I am now going to keep all the back ups of calls and mails to them.
I got a legal notice today from MTS. I cancelled the connection(because of their worst service...i need to wait for 5 mints approximately to load www.google.com sometimes) after settling all the dues in one of their outlet. Moreover, i returned the device as per the outlet executive's request. Now I got a legal notice.

I determined to challenge them in court anyway.

Guys,

Don't worry about the legal complaints by MTS. This is fully fake. Just reply back via a letter to the sent address stating your authentic reason with the recent bills and final settlements. No need to pay again & again. Just leave it. They are not going to do any such legal action against you, since they won't have any proof against you to register the case. Also that is against the law. So no worries, just settle your final bill and keep the copy with you. Thanks.
