They have covered open space of the be side of highway and build a shade on that area few month back. I would like to bring to the notice of the concerned authorities about an illegal construction of a room in our adjoining building by one Mrs. Saroj Thakkar. Mrs.Thakkar is a flat owner on the ground floor of our neighbouring Building 5, Ownership Colony, Rajawadi, Vidyavihar(East), Mumbai-400077. This building is surrounded by compound which belongs to the whole building. Mrs. Thakkar, without taking any permission from B.M.C. has constructed a structure of about 400 square feet in the open compound touching our common compound wall. She is using this room for some commercial purpose and there is no official licence or registration for this activity from B.M.C. or any other competent authorities. When we enquired with other flat owners of this building, they informed us that she has taken law in her hand and and always indulges in a street fight whenever we brought this issue to her. It seems she has taken the help of some B.M.C. officers and local corporations by bribing them handsomely.
One should be aware of the land prices in Vidyavihar(East) and getting a free usage of about 400 square feet commercial premises without spending for land cost and spending only for construction and some bribe amount showered on B.M.C. officers is a very illegal and needs to be checked by authorities.
It is requested that necessary action of demolition of this structure and taking necessary legal action against this lady be taken immediately.

We the residents of plot no. 31 and plot no.32, Ghatla Village Road, Chembur, (East). Mumbai 400071, would like to bring to the notice of the concerned authorities about an illegal construction going on in our adjoining plot no 33, owned by one Mr. Mahendra Pandey.
Mr. Mahendra Pandey is a Bungalow owner at plot no. 33, and he does not live there. He has converted the entire residential Bungalow into an UN-authorized commercial Hub ad-measuring around 3000 to 4000 sq. feet illegally.
This building is surrounded by a common compound from the three sides which belongs to the whole building that is situated on plot no. 31, 32, and 33.
Mr. Mahendra Pandey, without taking any permission from B.M.C. has constructed a structure of about 400 square feet in the open compound touching the common compound wall. He will be using this room for some commercial purpose in the near future, and there is no official N.O.C. obtained for this activity from B.M.C. or any other competent authority.
While raising this UN-lawful construction, Mr. Pandey has tempered with official B.M.C. water connection line belonging to plot no. 31 & plot no. 32, and has possibly attached an extra illegal connection line from the official water connection line of plot no. 31 & 32. This official connection was going through the common compound wall close to plot no. 33 of the building. Mr. Panday already has a separate Commercial Water connection which falls short of water for various commercial activities carried out in a residential Bungalow. Hence, he has taken to stealing the water reserved for plot no. 31 and 32.
Mr. Mahendra Pandey has clandestinely concealed this illegal water connection line belonging to plot no. 31 and plot no. 32, below the concrete and the tiling work done by him while raising an illegal construction so that it does not come to the notice of anyone.
When we inquired with all the other tenants of plot no. 31 & 32 of this building, they informed us that they are not getting sufficient water supply. Not even 50% of what they were earlier getting.
It seems Mr. Pandey has taken the help of some local anti-social elements to construct these UN-authorized commercial premises. More over the sewerage and drainage lines of this UN-authorized construction are passing through the drinking water storage tank of plot no. 31 and plot no. 32 that could spread disease to the occupants drawing water from this tank.
The B.M.C. Anti-encroachment department may not be aware of this fact and hence we take this opportunity to bring to their notice as well as to the notice of any other competent authority to demolish this UN- authorized construction activity presently being carried out by Mr. Pandey in order to restore the original authorized water connection provided by B.M.C. officially to plot no. 31 and plot no. 32.
One should be aware of the land prices prevailing in Chembur (East) and getting a free usage of additional 400 square feet commercial premises without spending for land cost and spending only for construction and some bribe amount showered on anti-social elements needs to be checked by the competent authorities.
It is requested that necessary action of demolition of this structure and restoration of original authorized water connection provided by B.M.C. be restored. Any other necessary legal action against Mr. Mahendra Pandey may be taken immediately by the concerned authorities.

All of these are unauthorised constructions on a place which is suppose to be a BMC's parallal road. Neither the BMC or Local Corporator is doing anything and all the parties are supporting the same since it is now election time. The people who are constructing are Galli Dada's and they have support from all political parties.
At one place BMC seeks thousands of Tax from the authorised flat / residence holders and these people go on constructing the illegal shanties with out any intervention. This is an Election time and people concern knows that and trying to cash in as much as possible.
Can somebody (BMC or local Corporator or MLA) please stand up? Can BMC do their Job and arrest this?

Subject: Complaint against illegal construction by the Landlord.
1. I, Manorama Vikram Jain, permanently residing as a tenant at Room No.20, 3rd floor, Jay Mahal Estate, 20/48, Lohar Chawl OR 39, Kitchen Garden Lane, Mumbai, 400 002, since 1974. For all these years I have been living here peacefully, but recently there have been some problems from the side of my landlord, Shri Jay Narandas Kajaria, which has disturbed the normal course of my living and stands as an obstruction in the path of a normal and peaceful daily life.
2. I say that our building is of three floors from front and four floors from the back. I am living on 3rd floor of the front side. We have common toilets for all the residents living in each floor. I, as a resident of 3rd floor, have been using this toilet for the past 40 years until this course was perturbed by the disturbing actions of the landlord, Shri Jay Narandas Kajaria. In order to harass the tenants and create disturbances, the landlord has demolished this 3 common W.C. & 2 bathroom around 300 - 400 square feet, four-five years back, thereby blocking all the toilets in the 3rd floor. From that time, we have been facing huge troubles for this basic need of life and are forced to look for second options for this sake. This has resulted into trouble and inconvenience for all the people residing there including me. Moreover, in that space he has constructed an office and as per my knowledge, he has not taken permission from B.M.C. for this construction. This action of his which is a clear example of negligence towards our problems and troubles and a portrayal of selfishness and indifference has resulted into suffering, agony, unavoidable mental harassment and troubles in the lives of all the people residing in the 3rd floor.
3. I say that the landlord has also started construction in the building which is illegal. This construction is illegal in the sense that it has not been permitted by the B.M.C. as per my knowledge. Moreover, none of this is according to the original building plan. Major portion of walls and beams have been removed making it difficult to live in and making the whole place a mess. All this creates nuisance and an unhygienic atmosphere which is difficult for us to perform our day to day activities. The construction is causing us disturbances which are not being taken into account.
4. I say that Shri Jay Narandas Kajaria is only concerned about his affairs and profits and is indifferent to the troubles his endeavors are causing us. We are paying money for living here, but all we get in return is loads of day to day worries and tensions. The construction by the landlord has been done just to extract money from the tenants, which is very unprofessional and unethical behavior from his side. He is excusing himself by providing no explanations for his selfish acts. He cannot just perform irrational acts for his own benefits without considering our problems. His actions are both illegal and troublesome in nature and hence need to be justified.
5. I say that therefore, I request you to take severe action against the landlord, Shri Jay Narandas Kajaria, within seven days. Illegal Construction of any kind should be stopped and toilets should be arranged for the 3rd floor. It should be taken into account that all residents are provided with such a basic amenity. Enquiry should be made regarding the legality of the construction and hence it should be checked as to whether permission has been taken for the construction by the B.M.C. If not, strict action should be taken against the landlord so that he does not repeat it again and any trouble to the residents is avoided in the future. If this is not done within the mentioned timeframe, then I will be forced to take this responsibility in my hands and go for civil or criminal action against the landlord as well as the B.M.C.

4. I say that Shri Jay Narandas Kajaria is only concerned about his affairs and profits and is indifferent to the troubles his endeavors are causing us. We are paying money for living here, but all we get in return is loads of day to day worries and tensions. The construction by the landlord has been done just to extract money from the tenants, which is very unprofessional and unethical behavior from his side. He is excusing himself by providing no explanations for his selfish acts. He cannot just perform irrational acts for his own benefits without considering our problems. His actions are both illegal and troublesome in nature and hence need to be justified.
5. I say that therefore, I request you to take severe action against the landlord, Shri Jay Narandas Kajaria, within seven days. Illegal Construction of any kind should be stopped and toilets should be arranged for the 3rd floor. It should be taken into account that all residents are provided with such a basic amenity. Enquiry should be made regarding the legality of the construction and hence it should be checked as to whether permission has been taken for the construction by the B.M.C. If not, strict action should be taken against the landlord so that he does not repeat it again and any trouble to the residents is avoided in the future. If this is not done within the mentioned timeframe, then I will be forced to take this responsibility in my hands and go for civil or criminal action against the landlord as well as the B.M.C.

There is a Sayeed Naseem Hushain 55 years covered residents building compounds and makes illegal rooms Building name FOUR BUNDER chirag nagar Ghat Koper West mumbai No 400086 . They have covered open space of the sociaty and build a shade on that area few years back. Now they closed that area and using like scraps damping that is danger to health of children We have made 2 written complaints against them, but after our complaint BMC people come to sociaty and told sociaty members that all flat holders made unauthorised construction in their flats so they have to demolish walls. this s harrsement.
Please look in to the matter.
