Dear Kash Zindagi - NO I DO NOT INTEND to risk my and my families well being to demonstrate my love for dogs. I do not like dogs even if they are pets, so you can force me to go shower my affection at stray dogs who are nothing but nuisance.

That said, i tried feeding some, - after being told these dogs are all vaccinated, sterlised and have thie right ear chipped off as a proof of their sterlisation status. But they come up in hoards, much enough to scare the s*** out of my life. And the most scary part is (come with me for a round of this area, and you would note too ) that atleast a third of these have their right ears intact.

So NO, you go and feed them - and take them to your backyard, if you are so fond of them. But allow me to go for my morning walk in peace ?

Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon — One day old built road started cracking up

A new road has been built infront of my office, Plot-21B, sector 18, Udhyog Vihar, Gurgaon on 20th March. 2010.
But it has started cracking up after just 1 day. Concrete is coming out from the road every where on the newly built-up road.
Why tax-payer money is distributed blindly to such a worst contractors? Is there no clause of Quality Control of building roads?
And who is responsible if this road does not stand for a week also?

Municipal Corporation Of Gurgaon — stray dogs

stray dogs are increasing in their numbers more than the human child in gurgaon city, any prestigious locality in the city. they should be abolished / aborted as soon as possible
I completely agree. DLF Phase IV is no better. On the road starting at Mothers Pride School going upto Vakil Market - is the road for DLF Phase IV and A Block, Sushant Lok Phase I

There are atleast 20-30 dogs at one point of time. and are a big hazard to the pedestrians. I have nearly escaped being bitten by one of these dogs. Is there someone listening?
bete unko khana dena shuru kar do. kaatna aur attack karna band kardenge. they are dogs and they are not like us jo bina kisi wajah ke kisi ko nuksaan pahuchate hai ya phir apne liye doosre ka bura karte hai.

My dear they can be controlled, egged on, by many ways.
Same problem in dlf phase 1. They r there in every street..u can't walk without being chased or barked at by a group of stray dogs. I can't even take my dog for a walk without being attacked. Seems their population has been increasing every day. People feeding them on the street makes them territorial n they r a real nuisance to the area. Anyone know how to removed them permanently for good ...f

There have been no cases of dog bite yet, but they run after you as soon as you come out of your house which is extremely threatening. Kindly look into the matter very seriously and take some action as soon as possible specially for the BLACK dog.

Can someone tell me where these dogs are taken to, once collected by the animal ambulances? Because as I understand the situation in India, I don't believe there are enough hands to feed these poor creatures, and it is a known yet hushed fact that these animals are put to sleep, and not RELOCATED, as some kind people like to put it. I do not intend to pick up a debate, but a bunch of dogs were picked up from my street two days ago, and I am disturbed. I know for a fact that these dogs were vaccinated, because a kind neighbor had actually got it done. We were a group of families actually caring for these dogs, and as goes, we were fond of them. It really disturbs me to think that those animals, a couple of whom were born in my garden and grew up playing with me, would probably by now have been put to sleep. I really want to try get them back, if at all possible.

I am not sure if this thread is still active, or if I would really get help, but if anyone reading this can help me at all, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!
