[Resolved]  Municipal Corporation Gurugram [MCG] — stray dog menace

There are many street dogs in Sector 55, Sushant Lok on GOlf Course road near Karma Dharma Apartment, . Always they are making harm to human passing through the way and making so much noise all the time

Please check a solution for this.

This is Uttam from sector 17C near to IFFCO chowk. In our street so many street dogs are there... I informed already the people who are all there that, the DOG's are bited so many people and childrens. Today I came from Office to my Room (House No:1329, Sector -17C, Iffco chowk). I am walked from the road to my street. More than three dogs are came backside and bite me, ... Now I am in hospital... We can't control that.It is extremely unsafe if you step out early morning or late evening as they start barking and sometimes are after you.. We are not feeling safe over here.. Please kindly take a necessary action and help the public.

Dear Sir,

There are stray dogs in sector 15, part 2 area. Number is increasing every month. These dogs are creating menace and very dangerous for small children playing outside.

Near House no 1224, 1225, 1226.

Pls move them to other open area.

Since last few days no. of street dogs have increased and they have tsrated biting the residents and they are creating the terror among the people in the locality to walk.Its is very difficult and unsafe to go out..
I request you to please catch these dogs and help us.

I would like to bring to your notice that the condition for passers in J7/20 DLF Phase 2 is becoming very threatening day by day. Currently there are 7-8 dogs near by this area and sometimes all of these are gathered at one place and this making it difficult for people to cross.

They are becoming aggressive day by day, today only two of them attacked our pg care taker and she is now in pain. This is really becoming a big issue for all persons staying here . They run after each vehicle and cases have been there where persons loses the control of the vehicle because of this.

These dogs have attacked several times, I am not sure if anyone has locked the complaint or not but I would seriously request you to please send the van and take away these dogs.

I have been repeatedly attacked by stray dogs every time I go out in the evening, there are about 10 dogs which are there as a pack. Every time I manage to escape. There is a woman who protests against putting them away, thus if municipal cooperation takes some action maybe they can b suppressed.

I would like to bring to your notice that, in A Block, Green woods, there have been growing incidences of dogs invariably troubling Elderly and children alike, during morning walk hours and also once the kids run out of there house for there play time,
Please can we have these dogs taken away from here, it has become like daily scare, while we step out.
Hope this matter can be resolved on priority.

Wow the street dog menace is of epic proportions in Gurgaon!!!

I like to run everyday and guess what I cannot do so inside DLF-Phase-1, hoard of dogs start barking and attacking.
Whoever wants to feed them is good, please also take them to your backyard and take care of them. Do not leave them out on the roads to fend for themselves and also cause nuisance to other people. Also they keep barking in the night all the time and cause us many times sleepless nights.

Btw there are laws for protection of citizens who are terrorised or bitten by these street dogs.For example in Delhi MCD is responsible for curbing street canine bites.A similar onus will have to be placed on MCG, as of now MCG is least bothered by this issue. As if we all don't have enough problems in life, lets not quantify this by encouraging keeping street dogs, SOmone has to be responsible for them, local RWAs can form Animal Welfare societys in each block and they should be responsible for taking care of these street animals(feeding, neutering, vaccination, adoption)

If you want to help the poor canines, do it the right way at least!!!

There is lot of problem of a stray dog bitting people in sector 14, Gurgaon. The dogs have bitten few people in the last few days. It would be very helpful if you could do something about this.These dogs group up and attack. It is getting tough to get out of the house especially near Astha Park and near House no.242.

This is regarding the menace created by the stray dogs in our colony UPPALS SOUTH END, sec-49 SOHNA ROAD. There are around 120 dogs in total in this colony. They attack everyone and has bitten few including me. Our repeated request has fallen into deaf ear. Since the goverment(Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon) as started collecting house tax also can we expect some help from them. Our humble request to please rescuse us from this menace.

This is regarding the street dogs in Sushant Lok, C-Block, Phase -1, from House no. 1200, Gurgaon. These dogs are a threat to passers by as well as keep howling throughout the night making it difficult for residents in the nearby houses too even sleep. Can someone pls have these dogs picked up and take away to some animal shelter?

I recently narrowly escaped an attack by a pack of stray dogs my house no.284 A-Block Palam Vihar Ansals Gurgaon.The dogs are getting aggressive by the day and attacking the passers by. Apparently, there have been no cases of dog bite yet, but the situation is extremely threatening when alone. Kindly look into the matter and relocate the dogs asap.These dogs used to sit mostly at the enterance of my house and I am facing problems daily even in to enter and to exit from my house.

This is regarding the stray dog menace in F-Block, South City 2 . There are atleast three sets of dogs in this block with two sets of three and one set of 4-5 which sums it up to a total of 10-12 dogs in just our block. These dogs are becoming a nuisance. The dogs are getting aggressive by the day and attacking the passersby’s. There have been growing instances of dogs invariably troubling Elderly and children alike, during morning o0r evening walks and also once the kids come out of their houses for their play time. The dogs mostly occupy the park and some sit under the cars and when the children are come out to play and the grown-ups step out for their walks there are occasions that they have been chased by these dogs.
There is a woman who protests against putting them away to the point that she feeds them, hence they don’t leave the block and also has not had them been neutered and inoculated. I would appreciate any action taken by the municipal cooperation to rid the block off these dogs. I am not concerned if they are relocated or taken to a pound. My pet was attacked on July 25th by a bunch of three strays and is now on medication and has received multiple stiches and dessing for the bites not to mention the multiple injections for different purposes resulting from the attack. My concern is strictly for my family, my pet and my neighbours who are suffering as much as I am.

Looking forward to a favorable response from the Municipal corporation of Gurgaon.

I live in sector 39 (Near Cyber Park), Gurgaon and there are 3 - 5 stray dogs and most of the time bikers face them late night approx 2:00 AM.

Could you please take some action to remove these stray dogs from sector 39 ASAP?
