[Resolved]  Murali Enterprises HP Gas Dealers Bangalore — No response to telephones

Sir,

I concur with the complaints of 2 other consumers about Murali Enterprises Bangalore - i have been trying to reach them for close to 20 days now and there is absolutely no response to any of the telephone numbers they have.

It is frustrating for a customer to be provided 6 numbers and none work!

If we are talking about the same Murali Enterprises, Marthahalli, Bangalore, then i totally agree with this. Infact i would quote it as the most frustrating experience in my whole life and i endure it every month when i try to reach them for refilling my gas. You have to try atleast 50 times to get one call answered and then you will be promised that they will deliver it every other day and you have to follow up every day. And remember every time you have to reach them...the hit ratio is 1:50 times you try their number..

and the strangest thing is...it would keep ringing and the next minute you call the number would be engaged. and when i went there two times personally , i noticed that most phone calls never attended and the reason they say it they are short staffed. Wonder how long they will provide service in this manner...and how long customers have to put up with this nuisance. I hope this message would be taken seriously if this is the right forum and if it intends to do its job well.
I completely agree with what every U guys have said. I am a new customer to this Agency. And this is the first time I ma trying to book the gas by calling their numbers. The call just keeps ringing and nobody receives the call. Not sure what the hell is wrong with us.


Any suggestions ?? Does complaining to consumer court help is anyway???
I fully agree. I too have to endure this nuisance every month. The last time I tried for almost 10 days continuously till somone answered the phone!!! I really wish there was a way to escalate this.
It is absolutely true and real frustating experience but today it went to next level. Earlier problem was that they never picking up the phone and I normally going to their office to book the gas, but this time even after booking they didn't delivered it for 10 days. When I enquired they said there was door locked. When I checked with the society security staff they told that nobody came for gas delivery from HP.
Please let me know do we have any other Gas dealer in Whitefield area and what is the process of shifting the gas connection to new agency.

Completely agree. Pathetic service, phone lines are never available and delivery is never on time, in spite o[censored]s giving explicit instructions on day and date of delivery. Moreover, the delivery people fleece money at the time of delivery.

Once on complaining to their office, the lady who answered the phone said that it is a norm to give at least 100 Rs to the delivery boy, "itna toh chahiye na" . On threatening to complain to HP, she put the phone down!!!

HP Gas — TELEPHONE CALL NOT ANSWERED

SIR I HAVE A HP GAS CONNECTION FROM CHIRAG GAS NALLASOPARA WEST. THE AGENCY HAS 04 TELEPHONES ,THESE TELEPHONES ARE ALWAYS ENGAGED FROM 08.00 TO 20.00 MAY BE THEY DO NOT WANT TO ANSWERE CALL OF BOOKING. Pathetic experience with Murali enterprise (HP gas agency) Bangalore. It has been a month, i booked my refill, but still didn't receive it. They only make false promises, but with no results.
I asked to lady whoever picked the phone i booked the GAS when can i expect delivery the lady answered like when ever we will send that time only you can take then suddenly cut the phone.

I have the same complaint. Everytime booking a Gas cylinder becomes a nightmare for me.I have to keep calling a 100 times to finally reach them.They book the cylinder, tell it will take 7 days and our job to keep following up with them, This time even worse happened.I booked a cylinder on 2nd Sep..was told that the cylinder will be delivered in 7 days and yesterday on 14th (after 12 days.. that too after regular follow up) i came to know the booking was cancelled.This is totally frustating.I want to know a way to deal with these guys.. just fed up of this booking process.
After calling them for 100 time finally a lady picked up the phone. I requested her to inform me the status of the already booked cylinder and she cut the phone without mentioning the delivery date. After that i kept on trying to call the agency. After that they cut my phone without listening to me. It has been a mightmare with this agency.Is there any way to deal with this problem?

We can see from various complains posted here that this phenomena of no picking up the calls is not seasonal. This has been happening for more than 5 years in the same fashion. The bell will keep ringing but nobody picks up the call. When you try again immediately second time you find that number engaged. It's very clear that staff puts the phone off the hook whenever someone tries to call them.

The only way out is to register online and do the bookings from there. In case of any issues make a official complain from the site itself. It has worked for me in the past. Recently their online booking site has changed. You can now register yourself at

If you have suffered similar issues I would suggest that rather than keeping quiet and bearing it silently, post your reviews on sites like this. Also make official complaints through their site and quote this URL in support of your complain. Only together we can make a difference and correct these people.

People who are inspiring to take a new Gas connection, please read this thread carefully and make a informed decision. In a hurry to take a Gas connection don’t suffer life long.

I have been a satisfied user of HP's domestic LPG connection and always appreciated the services provided by HP till now. However my experience with 'Murali enterprises' in the recent times has been a little painful. Following are the details of my experience:

1. I tried booking a refill through 'HP anytime' around 5th august, where it redirected me to contact the my distributor. I then visited 'murali enterprises' which is my distributor. They told me my connection has been disconnected because I did not get it refilled in the last four months and it will take another week's time to reactivate it. my grieviences regarding this are:

DOES THE CONNECTION GET DE-ACTIVATED ON ITS OWN IF NOT REFILLED? I AM STAYING ALONE AND MY CYLINDER DOES'NT GET OVER IN 6-7 MONTHS.

IS THERE NO MEANS OF INFORMING THE COSTUMER? OR THE COSTUMER GETS INFORMED ABOUT THIS ONLY WHEN HE TRIES TO BOOK A REFILL.

2. I was told to give a letter regarding re-activation of my account. After giving this letter, I again tried to book through 'HP anytime' on 8th august. This time I got a booking referance no. '293265'. After this I tried to enquire the agency about the status of my account activation and my refill request. My grieviences regarding this are:

I WAS TOLD THAT MY REFILL WOULD BE DONE IN ANOTHER 20-25 DAYS. IS THIS THE NORMAL TIME FOR DELIVERY?? I AM SORRY TO SAY MY PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES WITH OTHER HP AGENCIES HAVE NOT BEEN SO AND I USED TO GET PROMPT DELIVERY WITHIN 2-3 DAYS. I AM SURE HP MAINTAINS ITS INTEGRITY AMONG ALL ITS DEALERS.

2. THE LADY ON THE NO.[protected] WAS RUDE ENOUGH TO DISCONNECT THE PHONE WHEN ASKED ABOUT THE REASONS FOR THIS DELAY. THE BEHAVIOUR WAS QUITE THE SAME WHEN I VISITED THE CENTRE FOR REACTIVATION OF MY CONNECTION. THEY TOLD ME THAT ITS THE 'SALES' DEPTT. IN MAHADEVPURA WHICH HAS DISCONNECTED YOUR CONNECTION AND NOT US.

SHOULD A COSTUMER JUST WANDER ABOUT PLACES TO GET A REFILL DONE WHEN THE MATTER IS INTERNAL TO THE AGENCY??
Murali Enterprises, Marathahalli, Bangalore - After 1 month of booking, I received a SMS on Cash memo and informed I will receive after 48 hours. Even after 3 days, I didn't receive it, hence to contact them, need to spend 2 hours, even though the phone rings no one picks it. After 2 hours, thank god some lady picked the phone and asked Consumer number and after 30 seconds told you will receive it today and cut the call. But i have not received yet. Not sure, what to do, such a pathetic service.
we are also facing the same situation with Murali Ent.
It's very horrible to continue the Gas connection under Murali enterprises.

The problem has been started for us from day one...so many non sence conditions, you have to spend a whole day to get the work done over there..

What i observed in Murali ent :

1. am sitting in the office for 45m-1 hour, by that time all phones(3-4 lines) were continuously ringing, but no one is picking the calls, after some time they were simply keeping the phone aside.

2. Usually gas refill booking delivery used to take 3-5 days (lets take one week also), but here in Murali Ent it's been 20 days and i haven't got any update from them

3. Am trying to reach this people since 5 days but no one is lifting the call, such a pathetic service


Why the hell they run the business i don't know

Sir,

We don't know who are you, but if you are unable to do the proper customer service, it's ultimately incapability of managing the people.

i suggest the future users not to take the gas connection from this Ent,
