[Resolved]  Nacons Builders/Platinum City O Block — Building incomplete after 4 yrs of booking

I booked an apmt in Platinum city O block - Yeshwanthpur B'lore in 2005.
The building is still incomplete in 2009 (unoccupiable - basics like water etc)
The nationalised bank who gave me a housing loan has stopped providing funds due to lakh of progress in the work.
I have signed a tripartite agreement between the bank, builder and myself while securing the loan.
The builder was demanding me to pay the balance if I want my apmt to be completed.
I obviously did not have the resources to pay such big amts.- What is the purpose of a housing loan?

Now the builder is forcing me to complete the registration! (sale deed).

Please advise.

I'm looking for flats near yeshwantpur, rates are very high in this area...how much you paid for this flat?

I agree platinum city o block is the worst place to buy if anbody wants to buy a flat inplatinumcity iwill advice him or her to thorow the money in drain or give it to a charity plssss trust me never belive the buldier they aare chor
I totally agree...the situation is pretty pathetic..we had purchansed a apartment 3 years back and its still not complete..We have also paid the complete sum inspite of this the apartment is still incomplete..the resaidents who are staying have to pay a fixed sum of 1000/-!!! rupees for water and electricity which is pretty huge considering working ppl hardly stay at home.PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANY APARTMENTS IF NACONS IS THE BUILDER
I agree, the apartment is very poorest construction I have come across, NOCONS engineers and the management are the worst people I have ever meet so far, they don’t care for the kind of hard earned money which we have invested on the flat. Please don’t even think of buying an flat at NOCONS, Platinum City ‘O’ Block. The flat is not at all in a livable condition nor the safety is assured. I am repenting on buying this flat now…
hi I found that, platinum city is maintance part is very poor, and i say there is no Miantance at all.also we are facing water problems as supplied watre is very hard (750 ppm). and they said that they have watre softner plant, but there is no use of it if water is still so hard..

due to this there is problem in health and skin and hairs..think you before buy any flats here..
Is it has any improvement. Since, metro is close-by is it goodone for future. Does it have any improvement now??
Now the condition has improved a lot. lift is working swimming pool tile work is completed. Lot of people has started residing in Phase -II... For me it took only 5 months when i paid 80 % of the amount & next month i am taking possession. Flat is very well ventilated & good light.vitrified tiles & pretty descent flat at this promise that too just 1/2 kms from upcoming metro...
The road work was started but no use!! they stop the work and again the road is in bad condition...atleast they could have tar the road...parking area work has 2 b completed ...& d surrounding area should be
clean otherwise people will be bitten by snakes, ...if this project was in sherif's hand the project will
be completed and people would have been enjoyed...it would have been better if the project is handed over to sherif...now so many families are suffering!!!

few manpower are used. not the good materials are used for the construction etc.

Currently after TV9 intervention Tar road is ready.
Painting done.
Play area is ready. Cleaning of all waste material is happening.
Platinum city o Block phase -2 is pretty good considering the inflated prices everywhere else. Lift is functional. The road has been tarred and properly lit up and also the sideways are clean. Infact, they have also put a new coat of paint on the building and car park. Swimming pool is done. Also, children play-area has been constructed with swings, slides etc. the landscape garden is good. The party hall is getting constructed. Morever, the builder has taken steps to clean up and do maintenance. So overall, it is a value for money since Metro is coming up and also the building is less than 2 Km from ypr railway station.
I have purchased the appartment in phase 1 platinium city (Re-sale property). There is no proper road to approach and no lift (5days a week under mantiance). Management is very bad...
bought a flat in Platinum City O block.many people got flats in O block in much cheaper rate compared to other flats in Bangalore.There are many projects in Bangalore where the projects are almost stopped during and after recession.But atleast this builder is doing his work.Now the roads are ready, swimming pool is ready.Club house /party hall is also getting constructed.The apartment is in a very good location. The prices of the flats are also increasing in this area.

Iam planning to take an Apartment for Rent @ Necons Platinum City, HMT Rd, Thus im really confused I shud go for it or not now after seeing all the above comments . Thus please suggest me waht should I do now..??Shall I go for it or not..?I am moving with my Family so security is also a concern for me..Please suggest.

i Want to rent my apartment which is in 1st phase. its a 2bhk apartment with wardrobe in both the rooms, kitchen cabinet, geyser, fan fittings, utility is covered with grill. already getting a rent of Rs 7500/- per month. What is the update of O block now? I came to know some bank is selling few flats of defaulting loan holders. Is it good for senior citizens to be living there? Is lift functional with backup?
