[Resolved]  Nokia Care India / Nokia N73 — REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY

I purchased my Nokia N73-music edition from a an authorised dealer at Shimoga, Karnataka, after almost 9 months, its volume/zoom switch was not working. I took it to the Nokia care at shimoga, karnatka, India. They took three days and now they are telling that its switch is broken and cannot be repaired under warranty, as it is a physical damage. It is a total lie. Just because they are unable to repair it, they are telling lies that it does not come under warranty. I have paid a dear price for this. Can any one tell me what to do in this situation. If Nokia care does not care about customers, which is the best forum to nail these people. You might have come across such problems. Can we go to consumer courts. If Nokia care is reading this, please reply to this. My job sheet no.[protected]/080325/86 and my set serial no. is [protected].

i am use on my nokia n73 phone only one partuculer sim. when i use other sim in my nokia mobile it want a password number please solve my problem.
i purchased n78 in apr 2009 but it has lots of problem like buzzers problem. so, i gave it to nokia care ranchi, but they creates lots of damage in my phone like they damage my keyboard, dcover, buzzer and many more. what can i do after this ? at last i want to say that there is no exact solution of nokia phones like n-series in ranchi.
about the n78, i want to say that this handset has lots of problem of sound system
I had never seen such a kind of worst service centre. i had servised my nokia 5610-d nearly 6 times for frequently re-start problem during the warranty period. Every time they are loading the software and giving and the same problem persists. I lodged a complaint on this to Nokia care online but there is no co-ordination between the online centres and service centres.
Below given is the service centre address. Now i'm going to file a case against Consumer Court.

I Think Nokia in India doing monopoly with Indian consumer. I have bought Nokia phone because I thought it is a most trusted brand in mobile product. But reality come when I given my phone to nokia care. they told me that they will give me my repaired phone in maximum 10 to 15 days. 15 days has gone and today is 18th day and they still can't tell me that when my phone will be hand over to me. But I request them please return my phone if it is not repaired, i will repaire it in any private service centre Because I am facing problem without my mobile, in 18 days no one can contact me, I am also not contact anyone I am a student and part time share trader. I am very disturb in my study and in by business becuase I am disconnected with my sharebroker who gives me tips.If I am calling nokia care centre they give me phone number of customer care[protected], and when I am calling this number they told me company has dispacthed your mobile from mumbai so ask to your nokia care center . sir i want to say that who will take response?????????????????????
At the time of purchase of the device the Nokia Dealer assured for the services of the device and said that the device is new but don’t have any drawback.
I purchased with great enthusiasm but now I am feeling cheated and harassed.

From the very first day I am facing lots of problem with the device. I tried my level best to get the problem rectified, drop mails to Nokia Online care, personally attended the Nokia care so many times. I only wasted my time and efforts along the money I spent in traveling. Also due to these problems my work is effected.
My humble request is to look into the matter and get is resolved.
I have summarized the problem and my efforts as follows

Problem facing with the device (set)-

1) Device goes in hanging state while in conversation, even the power on/off button doesn’t work, I have to pull out the battery to make the set live again. This is the major problem with the device, as the device becomes completely unusable during the hanging duration. After the battery jack in/out is done the device come to live but the problem is periodic.
2) While in conversation the Ear Piece speaker volume decreases automatically, besides the volume button is at its peak.
3) Some time while the conversation is going on, and another call in landed i.e call in waiting, I am unable to swap the call in waiting to the on going call. In this case it seems that the whole touch screen is in hanging state.
4) Some time when trying to open any application I receive an error message (pop up) “Close Some Application and try again” while no application is opened in the system tray.
5) Some time an error message appears “Security Code error” while trying to open some application/file.
6) Device Mini QWERTY keyboard is not working properly, as while trying to press ‘O’, the letter printed is ‘P’, while tying to press ‘V’, the letter printed is ‘B’.

Efforts made by my side to rectify the problems-

1) On 21 Jan 2009 I went to see the Nokia personal and place all the problems I was facing, he just performed a format to my device.
2) On 26 Feb 2009 I submitted my device to Nokia Care, and after one and half day I got it back. The Nokia personal assured me that the problem has been rectified.

3) On the very next day the same problem appears, I talked to the Nokia personal the result is not fruit full.
4) On Mar, 2009 I submitted the set at Nokia care, after keeping the device full working hours they returned it back. (I missed job sheet no)
5) Again on 24 Mar 2009 I again submitted the set to Nokia Care.

After this activity I am unable to connect my device with my laptop/PC, neither by Bluetooth nor with the data cable.

6) Again on 04 Aug I have submitted my handset to Nokia care with the following:-

8) Today on calling Nokia care Mr Rajat (3.11 PM) has picked up the case but without proper response disconnected my phone and transferred me to the IVR.

Besides above I have visited the Nokia Care so many times, and also drop mail to the online Nokia care.
I am working as an engineer in telecommunication field, due to above problems I am very much mentally disturbed and my works are suffering.
After giving so much of time and efforts I am facing the same problem.
So now I give up and request you to replace my device with the brand new one or reimburse (repay) the whole amount of money.

I have purchased a Nokia N-73 Music Version cell phone on 24th Feb'09 with the IMEI no. [protected]. Due to some minor software problem my phone was given to Nokia Care, (Satna Comunication, Satna, M.P.). They have checked it from every angel and found that the phone is under warranty coverage. To overcome the problem they have decided to upgrade the software of the phone. It was very shocking that while upgrading the software my phone has become dead. The Nokia Care people has decided to send the hand set to Delhi and confirmed that within 12days they will hand over my cell phone. When it was told by me that I have given my phone for minor software problem then why such major problem has come up then they convinced me that Nokia might replace the hand set with a new cell phone. After long waiting 12days I came to know that instead of replacing the set they are giving me the same old repaired handset. Now my question is if after two months again if the set becomes dead then from where I will take care of it and am I any where wrong to give the cell phone to NOKIA CARE SATNA for the up gradation of software? I want a replacement of the set with a new NOKIA N-73 hand set.

PLEASE HELP to avoid assistance from CONSUMER FORUM.

I think Nokia N96 very bad mobile phone . I have Nokia N96 mobile .. am not satisfied in this Mobile. Bad..bad... Do not buy any Nokia N96 mobile (this warning for all Nokia N96 lovers..) My display 2 times complaint in under warranty period .. Nokia care not ready to replace this display (blinking, black line) i lost 2700x2 for display changing .. please do not buy any Nokia N96 mobiles... please use another mobile..

i would like to describe problem over here occurring in my mobile handset nokiaN73.
it is not working properly . it is not able to send messages, slow working and many other problems are there. so please send me the solution for the problem . i have already approached to the nokia care center situated at rudrapur district udham singh nagar state uttarakhand country india.
i purchased a nokia 6275 CDMA phone in[protected]. but now it has lots of problems like some keys of phone is not working(right, Down, 7, 8, &9). i gave Two times, to nokia care in PAONTA SAHIB, Add. -1st Floor, Y-Point Shamsherpur Paonta Sahib Distt- Sirmour, (H.P.). the care approx. 1.5 month at hold for servicing this phone .But the problems was not being solved.and some other problems created by nokia care like PRL .
So kindly resolved my Mobile phone problems.

I purchased my Nokia N73-music edition from a an authorised dealer at vinee electronics, BILASPUR HP 174001, after almost 7 months, its .music library was not working i put dis problem at nokia centre BILASPUR HP174001 after that he gave me 20 days but i went there they said that there was hardware problem .but when i got it back all set was destroyed like key mat was duplicate, side key was broken charging point was also not working properly and display was also not clear.after that i again gave set to them back and he waited me 4 days more and after that when i took it back again set was all same like 4 days before after that he took again that set and gave me 10 days more after that it was same like that so what i should i do now .. It is a total lie. Just because they are unable to repair it, . I have paid a dear price for this. Can any one tell me what to do in this situation. If Nokia care does not care about customers, which is the best forum to nail these people. . Can we go to consumer courts. If Nokia care is reading this, pleasewithin seven days reply to this. hello sir/mam
i have nokia N91 4gb mobile. And i have read his feature from www.fonearena.com this site. There have write Nokia N91 have wifi (WLAN) but my device have not WIFI (WLAN) why?
AS I want know that wheather the N-97 Model screen gaurd got no of scraches, as it is under warrenty can it"s screen gaurd can be replaced or is it available with NokiaCare. please let me know.

Nokia N 96 — under warranty set not repaired

i purchased a nokia n 96 on 15 th june 2009 , my set iemi no is [protected].my set was running ok and then one day my battery got totally dischged due to uses and my set got off.i charged
the battery but the set started but nothing was there on screen.i registered a complain at nokia care at 83,golaghata road ,kolkata 700048 on 19/3/10,my jobsheet no is 9777.they gave me a estimate of 1800 rs as some of the parts of my mobile were so aclled liquid damaged.now today they are telling my set cannt be repaired ,i m shocked .......a mobile phone worth 35000 and in one year the manufacturing company nokia is saying ,throw it off.i want justice
