[Resolved]  Nokia Care India / Nokia N73 — REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY

I purchased my Nokia N73-music edition from a an authorised dealer at Shimoga, Karnataka, after almost 9 months, its volume/zoom switch was not working. I took it to the Nokia care at shimoga, karnatka, India. They took three days and now they are telling that its switch is broken and cannot be repaired under warranty, as it is a physical damage. It is a total lie. Just because they are unable to repair it, they are telling lies that it does not come under warranty. I have paid a dear price for this. Can any one tell me what to do in this situation. If Nokia care does not care about customers, which is the best forum to nail these people. You might have come across such problems. Can we go to consumer courts. If Nokia care is reading this, please reply to this. My job sheet no.[protected]/080325/86 and my set serial no. is [protected].

i purchased my nokia 311oc from jalandhar ...but after some time it gives problum like re start, i gave my phone to nokia care at bmc chock jalandhar ...he gave me a time of 20 days but .after 20 days they dont return ma ph ...when i call them they dont take call, today when iam reached there they ask me that my ph will comes on monday...so i warn you that i am putting case on company if you can't give back my mobile.ma job sheet no is 2483 and serial no is[protected].If Nokia care is reading this, please reply to this.the nokia care said me that ma ph gives a reboot problum ...now i am waitin for the day which they have gives me .and aftr this i will take further action ... plz gives me the solution of ma problum ...i repair it from nokiacare 7 times but after this it gives me problum ...nokia care said that ma ph is in replacement .

Nokia — 1.5 months at repair center. Still unable to repair

Hi,
I gave my Nokia 5310 (6 months old) for microphone not working. Repair Center kept it for 15 days and then said it is beyond their capability. They sent it to Chennai on 29th Aug. with Target date of delivering the repaired mobile by 15th Sept. Today is 25th Sept. Still they have no clue on the status of the mobile or when they are going to get it.

They say it is one year warranty. I paid around 10k for the mobile, used it for 5 months and now it in their repair shop for one and half months. They need to wait for probably couple of more months this way to complete the warranty period (probably in the repair shop itself). Nokia Care Center Name: EDGE COM. Job Sheet No>[protected]/080829/13. The Nokia Care Center is not ready to give any contact at Nokia or Chennai Center whom the customer can talk to.

At the time of handovering the handset there promised has been made to me that yours
handset will be repaired and they told this is an usual problem of flap handset occured
due to internal wiring problem and will be returned the repaired handset by as on 26 Nov, 2008
according to job sheet..And i also told them whatever charge in reparing will come, i will
pay for it they estimated around[protected].
On the given date when as per job sheeet(26.Nov.2008)when i went there to collect
the handset they told me yours handset has been sent to Noida branch for repairing please
do come after two week.Next time when i went there to collect my handset they again told me
handset still in Noida branch they again told me come after few days, After few days a call
been made to me yours handset is repared and please collect it, next day when i went there to
collect my handset when i checked it out my handset i was very surprise to see that it was
totally blank and out of order and even not getting on.I immideate told them about the
problem before handovering the handset it was quite working but now its is totally out of
order, They again told me its a simple problem its not working due to immproper fitting of
handset please again do come after some days, when i reached there after some days now
they are saying yours handset is again sent to Noida for fitting please again come after ten
days.When i again went there after ten days now they are saying yours handset cannot
be made repaired its got major dammage.
Dear sir/Madam here i want an immideate action for this harresment and damage
And also this is to warn you if i dont get a positive response as soon as possible i will suit file
againt yours Nokia care.

NOKIA Mobile N96 — Repair under Warranty

I had purchased a Nokia mobile N96 on 9/10.08 from M/S Sameer Music Bhopal( authorised Nokia dealer).I had submitted my nokia N96 mobile to nokia care sameer music bhopal MP for repair on 21.12.08 (job sheet No.[protected]/081221/20).Then after 15 days I was informed that my mobile has been swaped and I shall get another mobile.Till 29.1.09 I did not get my mobile than I coplained to nokia care line and the complaint ID is 2/3PS5XR.I again I contacted Nokia care line on 2.2.09 and was assured that I shall get my mobile on 9.2.09, but again I did not recieved my mobile.I again cotacted nokia careline today ie 9.2.09 and they said that i will get it and when I informed that the set has not reached bhopal they have noted this and have asked me to contact on 10.2.09.I contacted nokia care line on 10.2.09 and again I was asked to call after 24 hrs.Today on 11.2.09 I again contacted them and now the have replied to contact after 10 days.

I took it to the Nokia care center at Bathinda, Punjab India. They took three for days and they returned me the handset. After few day's I checked the IEMI no of the set, which I was found changed. The set returned to me having IMEI no is [protected] and my oregional handset no was [protected]. I complaint them for the sae and assured me to give me the my handset. Now fifteen day'd gone they could not take the action. If Nokia care does not care about customers, which is the best forum. Can I go to consumer courts. Today I have taken my N73 handset to Nokia Care of Rajkot - Gujarat with the problem of poor audio quality of incoming call. The executive had told me it took 1 hour to get the problem rectified; after one hour they told now there is problem of IC and same need to be sent to Delhi for repair job.

If Nokia care is making customer fool like this, how Nokia will improve his image which is going down day by day.
Please look into the matter and sort out, immediately.

I have purchased Nokia 7310C mobile. I submitted mobile in Nokiacare centre Naraina industrial area, New Delhi on 8th May 2009 ( Job sheet number:[protected]/090508/24 dated 8th/ May/2009, time 15:14)because of some problems in keypad.At that time customer care person told me to return my mobile in 2-3 days after repairing. On 11th May, I went to Nokia care centre, but customer care person told me, He will be able to give my mobile after 10 days..On 23 rd May 2009 i.e today I called customer care person to return my mobile after repairing .He told me it will take 7 more days to repair..

i purchased a nokia 7210 supernova 28 days back. Now my charger is out of order and when i went to nokia care of Nayasadak, Cuttack, Orissa they said we have to send this charger to company for replacement and it will take 20 days. Dont you think its ilogical? 20 days for replacement of charger...how will i charge my cell phone. And another problem is that the way they behaving with the customer is vey bad. Is nokia care is really caring...what should i do please suggest me.

Hello Sirs,

I am Javed Variya from Jamnagar (Gujrat). I am a tutor of English. I had bought new N73 from 'Ree Mobile Point & Cyber Cafe (G-20, Madhav plaza, opp. SBI Bank near Lal Bunglow) which is down to my classes. I had bought this instument on 29/7/2008. Since then I frequently visit authorised customercare senter for Nokia mobile in our city named Shree Service (8/9, Manibhadra App., Pancheswar Tower Road Jamnagar. Mob:- [protected]). They have sent my mobile to Headcenters as they said so 4 times but the result is yet not satisfactorily.
1. I get my mobile to them for my no. 2 swicth was not working and they gave me back in the same day but when I saw one of their employee was treating it very roughly I thoght that there would be more damage in my cell and it happened too. Just after two or three days 'Gallery & Camera swicth' stopped woking. I gave it back and I was told to wait for 20 to 25 days. They told me that they will inform me as soon as my cell returns. I waited for more 2 days than they told me to do. Then by one of my souce in that agency I came to know that my cell had already been arrived. The person who suppose to inform me forgot and didn't call me at that time so I told them this and he just denided and said "I am sure that I called you about the arrival of you cell" I offered him to check my cell which I was using at that time.
2. The same thing happened after some time and this time a lady who suppose to be incharge told me that this time I would surely get a new cell cause it was the same problem again in the same instrument. But it was not happened.

3. Again I was there with my cell to get 'Joystick' repaired. They told me to come at evening on the same day. When I got my cell back the joystick had lost its delicacy totally and it was moving like a hammer. I checked y cell this time and the front camera was out to order ! now this was surely their foult cause when I gave it to them it was working very well. Again I was told me wait but this time that lady told me to wait for only 12 or 14 days. She also made sure that this time I would remark to get this instrument replace. Almost 30 days passed then my cell returned as it was before though this time it was woking nice but it was just for few days.

4. Now my joystick is not working and I have only few days left in my warranty periode I haven't use my cell constantly through out the year. More than 3 months it had been in service centers. I went today at Shree Service but the net was not working so they refused to take my cell and asked me to come on the next day.

I kindly request you to get my cell replace. My IMEI :- [protected], last time when I gave my mobile to service center my jobsheet number was :[protected]/090504/44. It was dated 04th May 2009. My cont. no. are [protected] and [protected].
