Nokia E - 50 — FOR CHANGE ORIGINAL OUTER BODY OF MY CELL IN WARRANTY PERIOD.

Nokia E-50 — Malfunctioning Product and Service deficiency

I am Mohit Malhotra from Delhi, India. I purchased a Nokia E-50 handset from 'The Mobile Store' situated at Nehru Place. I really feel appaled at the quality of products being sold in Indian markets by these so called MNCs and the service level provided are not even worth being called as service.
I purchased the handset on June 10, 2007. Since then i have been facing a peculiar problem of phone malfunctioning. I shall just explain the problem:
There is a peculiar problem with the set, occasionally (every 7-8th call) whenever i receive any call from anywhere, from anyone, it automatically goes on speaker and my phones hangs in its same form, i.e. screen on, not able to reject, keypad hanged, call still on speaker, there is no way by which i can change the state of the phone unless i take out the batteries and restart the phone. Actually this same problem is also being faced by couple of more ( I can provide you their contact numbers as well) users who bought the same set of E-50.
Thereafter i went to one of the Nokiacare stores and submitted my handset to them, they diligently updated the software and took there sweet time in returning the handset.
Agian 2-3 days later i faced the same problem of handset getting hanged while receiving a call, at this point in time i called up in Nokia care support in Bangalore and told them the whole situation, they again requested me to submit the handset and i diligently did that. But to my surprise i faced the same problem again.
Now third time again i spoke with them and they again told me to do the same and same thing happend 4th time as well.
Now after all the turmoil since my first experience with Nokia I am still facing the same problem despite of i being co-operative for 4 times, the Nokia guys tell me that i should tyake the same route to get the handset repaired.
Tell me is it justified that i again go ahead and trust these guys and give my handset again and face the same problem.
Please note That Since June 10, 2007, i Have deposited my handset for 4 times and have chased up like a mad person by calling atleast 15 times to there Bangalore number[protected] just to get my phone fixed.
I do not understand why there has been so much of discrimination with indian markets by such a big MNCs. I have stayed in the US, UK and other Gulf countries there consumer protection laws and the senstivity of such companies towards the customers is much better than in India. Is this there with all the MNCs in India?
One last thing i would like to bring up as well is that there has not been any other mechanism or esclation matrix availale to consumers in case of such a pain bein given by pathetic and odorous service and products. As i had to do the same thing and had to follow the same matrix for the same problem. There is absolutly no means by which i can highlight this gross service deficiency to higher authorities.



This is the main reason i am writing to you guys and hoping that something can be done for larger benefit of the consumers as well.

Nokia — malfunctioning of product

i have bought a new nokia 2626 on 20/04/09 and it start malfunctioning after 37 days. than i take it to nokia care and repaired it. now it start malfunctioning again after one month
