Nokia E 71 — Nokia harassing me by not providing document needed to claim my lost phone from police

Respected Officials

I want to register complaint against Nokia which is harassing me from past one year. Firstly because of faulty handsets and now not cooperating with me.

The case:

My Ex-company Sterling Construction Systems had gifted me E 71 bearing IMEI no.[protected] which was purchased from Vijay Sales, Vashi, Navi Mumbai on 26/12/08. (Original bill is attached herewith) The handset bought was defunct so I got a replacement from Nokia care center; Vashi Telecom with a new handset bearing IMEI no. [protected] and the job sheet no. was MUM0642297. This new handset was again a defunct one and this time I got replacement from Brightpoint India Pvt. Ltd, Lower Parel, Mumbai bearing IMEI no. [protected] and job sheet no. was MUM0660461. This handset again had some with its battery back up but I dint had any energy left to go care centres again so I plan to continue with the same handset.I anyways have written lot of mails to Nokia already complaining about the poor services of Vashi Telecom and Bright Point India but of no avial.

I lost this handset bearing IMEI no. [protected] on 10.10.09, compliant was registered with NRI police station. Now police has traced my handset but I cant claim it as I have lost swap note which was given to me by Bright Point mentioning IMEI no, of the replaced handset.[protected] and Nokia has refused to provide me with the duplicate copy of the swap note saying Bright Point is closed now.

I did spoke to Nokia customer service executive Shilpa on Nokia care line and to my dismay she flatly refused to help me stating that Nokia cant help here because Bright Point is closed now. I want to ask Nokia is it a customers fault that one of yours care centers' got closed ? When I'm providing the job sheet no. (MUM0660461) why Nokia is unable to give me a duplicate copy of the same? Is this the way an MNC should treat its customers?

I sincerely request to your Sir that please make Nokia provide me some proof or that jobsheet MUM0660461 so that I can claim my phone and become your goodwill ambassador.
