I am Tanka Bhattarai and I was using nokia 5700 Express Music. It was stolen from my relatives residence at TEZPUR, ASSAM on 30.08.2009. IMEI no is [protected] and i was using BSNL no [protected], . I have registered a complain at local police station and got a new sim from BSNL. Please block the handset immediately so that nobody can use it.

Iam sekhar. one and half month back i have purchased nokia 5800 xpress music mobile (purchased on oct 23rd 2009) . My mobile IMEI number is [protected] .
1)I have called (2 times)to nokia customer care to block my handset, They told they are not having permission to block the handset.
2)I have called to airtel (2 times) (my service provider) customer also, they also told the same thing.
3)I have given compliaent in madiwala (banglore) police station . They given just an acknowledgement slip for formality . That acknowledge ment slip did not contains any serial number.

I want to know whether we are really having the facility to block a mobile handset by using IMEI number ???
If yes, could you please let me know the correct procedure to block handset . Could you please send your reply to my below mentioned maild also .

in december 09 when i was travelling in hirakund express(8507) from gwalior to mathura coach no.S5 and seat no.57on 02.12.2009 my mobile phone was thefted by some stranger just before reaching to mathura station.and when i was tried to lodge a complaint in mathura grp police station,head writer and madam was denied to listen my complaint.and i tried a lot to request them and to lodge the complaint.
i have waited there for one hour but no response i have observed from the concerned police
