[Resolved]  Nokia N70 — deficiency in repair and inordinate delay in supply of replacement

I bought a Nokia N70 mobile in Oct 2006. There was some problem in head set connectivity and I gave to nokia care for repair on 08/09/2007. After several visits and phones I was informed that the set was scrapped and a swap piece would be given. I got my swap piece on 22/10/2007( after 44 days) and as ill luck would have it, the swap piece also went out of order. the complaint was 'NO net work connectivity' When I gave for repair on 14/11/2007 and I was told that the piece was beyond repaid and only to be replacaed. But i am yet to get my replacement piece even after 45 days. I made a complaint to Nokia care over phone on 17/12/2007 and today 19/12/2007 i am informed by complaint department of Nokia care that since N70 equipments are not available, only on 25/12/2007 it will be sent to the concerned nokia care and I can check on 239/12/2007.

I am really pained and purterbed by the quality of after sales service given by a company of high repute and size.
In the circumstances I request you all whether I can insist on issuance of Brand new set as the repaired piece are not up to the mark. My mobile no [protected]

N70 — replacement not received

Bought N70 which got crashed, as it was in the warranty period nokia care center assured to provide the replacement.
Set was handed over on 14th Nov'07. Till date have not received replaced cell.
After interacting with the customer care center they say it pending centraly.

2 month and they say they dont have any replacement piece available with them. Pls tell how long should i wait for my cell.

Dear Sir,
The above model handset was purchased from M/s. The Mobile Store, authorized dealer of Nokia Products. We are regular customer of nokia and have purchased 2 handsets from the same store. Out of these, one handset Model: N – 70-1, IMIE no. [protected] has stopped working.
We have approached your Nokia care a quite a number of times, which I am mentioning categorically.

1)This handset was purchased on 8th November 2007.

2 )Just within 6 months this handset got completely discharged even after regular charging.

3 )This handset was immediately shown to the dealer (M/s. Mobile Store) on 17th June, 2008.

4 )The dealer took this handset to M/s. Nokia care, Anurag Marketing, Mazenin Floor, Fawara Chowk, C.A.Road, Nagpur, who in turn made a Service Job Sheet No.[protected]/080617/86 on 17th june, 2008.

5 )When contacted for delivery, it was informed that this particular handset has critical hardware problem which cannot be rectified here and will be sent to Delhi head office.

6 )When enquired as to when we will be getting the handset, they expressed their inability to give specific date and informed that this may take days, weeks or even months to rectify the same.

Sir/madam, you will kindly agree this handset is very costly (Rs. 10, 419/-), which was purchased to meet the emergency phone calls and I am left with no mobile with me even after expending so huge amount.
M/s. Nokia has always assured its customer that they have 24 hours customer care and complaints are being attended within 24 hours, which is not happening in my case.
We request you to advise the concerned to take immediate action in this regard to immediately replace the handset with a new one.
Please note that till date we have faced enough embarrassment and have wasted time from running pillar to post to get the handset, but in vain. If we are not getting a new handset as a replacement immediately within a week’s time, we will be forced to lodge a complaint with Consumer forum.
We are confident that M/s. Nokia Care will not give us such botherations of moving to the Consumer forum or Court of law and arrange for immediate replacement.

Nokia N70m — Replacement Delay

My Jobsheet No is [protected].My mobile N70 music edition suffered hanging problem.So, I went to the Nokia Care in Annasalai HCL infinet 12/6/2008 and they asked to collect the mobile after two Days.After two days I collected the mobile and switched it on and found that Memory card is not accepting and I gave a complaint about it in the same Nokia care and they said that they will take it as higher priority and asked me to collect it after two days.I called them and asked whether the mobile is ready for collecting, but they said it cant be repaired so it will bereplaced within 15days.Even after 20days they are saying there was no stalk and delay from the head office so they asked me to call after 10days.Therefore they are asking me wait for more than 30 days. Buying a mobile for 10, 000 and within 5months many problems occured and finally not replacing the mobile in correct mentioned date.if possible please get me the money back or replace it earlier.

N70-1 — DELAYED SERVICE

I OFFERED MY N70 WHICH WAS DEAD WITHIN WARRANTY PERIOD OF ONE YEAR TO CITYTEL SERVICES AT P 11 CIT ROAD, SCHEME-L V, MOULALI KOLKATA-700014 ON 14/08/2008. BUT THE SERVICE CENTRE NOT YET DELIVERED MY MOBILE AND WHENEVER HE ASKED HE GAVES NO SATISFACTORY REPLY.NOE WILL YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHEN SHALL I GET BACK MY MOBLIE. AS THE MOBILE IS OUT OF SERVICE WITHIN ONE YEAR OF ONE YEAR WARRANTY YOU PLEASE REPLACE THE SET.I WAN IMMEDIATE REPLY OTHERWISE I WILL TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION AGAINST YOU. IT IS VERY UNFORTUNATE THAT PURCHASING A PREMIUM QUALITY SET FROM AREPUITED COMPANY LIKE YOU I AM TO SUFFER A LOT. AWAITING FOR YOUR EARLIEST ACTION

Nokia N70m — Replacement

on 14/07/08 i had submit my cell 1st time to nokia care. on delivery date it was not working properly same time i submitted it again. on 28/07/08 i received my handset but within 2 day it was not woking.on 06/08/08 i had given my handset to nokia care again they gave me expected date 09/08/08.

when i go to collect my handset om 16/8/08 they told me that they it was an replacement and it takes 1 weak.

from that day they are not telling truth and misguiding me.

I have given my Nokia N-70 in 25 July in Jorhat Nokia Care.But till date i have not get my set back.As per telephonic discussion Guwahati sentre informed me that they send my set to Jorhat in 27th Aug 2008.My job sheet no. 26798.Acording to guwahati they send my set vide challan no. 2435 and docket no. [protected] and my handset sr. no. is 12.Please do something for my set.otherwise i shall go to the consumer forum against this matter.

Nokia N-70 — Replacement Request

I purchased the nokia n-70 mobile phone inspite of its cost, keeping in mind the reputation of the company in the market and its assurance of delivering the best for its costmers.but its very unfortunate and sorry to say that now i m repenting my decision of buying this phone.i bought the N-70 with product code 0539267 and serial number [protected] from the nokia priority dealer shop.everything went fine for five month after that it started showing flickering in the screen and after sometime it started showing major problems like the loudspeaker automatically start and the music menu also opened while during incoming and outgoing calls.i submitted my phone in the nokia servicing center Green Park, they returned the phone without any improvements.on submitting the phone again they kept on giving dates and made me keep asking for the phone, but the problem remained unsolved with further addition to the problem now the phone started showing the phone memory as full and now performing any function in the phone became a real headache to me.i have again submitted the phone under job sheet number[protected] and still wonder when i'll be getting the phone.
Being an student i have already wasted a lot of my time on this irrelevant foolish work and have already gone through a lot of mental harrasment, inspite of buying such a costly phone and that too from a renowned company like NOKIA.
i dont want to further waste my time and brain on all this and therefore i want to get it replaced as soon as possible.
if proper attention is not given to my complaint then i will be forced to take judicial action against the company.

My Jobsheet No is[protected]/08120315.(2nd Time) My mobile 3600S sustained Speaker sound problem. Therefore, I went to the Nokia Care at Tinsukia first time for repairing on[protected] and they told that they are unable to open the set, so they have to send it to Guwahati Nokia care. Accordingly they send it on[protected] and on[protected] I again received the set from Nokia care after repairing, but after using 5 Minutes it creates more Problem then before. Immediately on[protected] again I deposit the set at Nikia care Tinsukia. In the mean time I contacted Mr. Himanshu Das at Guwahati over phone about the problem and he told that he will give replacement against the damaged one. But till dated i.e.[protected] I have not received any information from them. I am facing problem not getting the set. Yesterday I paid visit to Nokia care at Tinsukia and asked about the set and on reply they told that it will take again 10 days. I think Nikia care is playing a game with me. I have purchase the set in the Aug, 2008 for Rs.10, 100/- and within 2 months it creates problems. If I get not any reply within 48 Hours and getting no optioned I will go through Court.
