[Resolved]  Nokia N73 Music Edition — Worst Service Centre for the Best Mobile Manufacturer

Sir / Madam,

This is to bring to your concern about the ground realities for the reduction in the customer satisfaction towards NOKIA mobiles and its service centres.

I used to feel proud to have all mobile phones in my family of NOKIA make, thanks to the quality of build the company provides. For last 10 years, whenever any one asks me the suggestion to purchase a mobile, I use to recommend them only NOKIA, which I have already tested the quality of performance over these years.

But the greatest hiccup I use to find with the company is their service centre. Whenever I give it for repair, I use to get scared, whether the same quality will continue or deteriorate. It is something like a person going for a tooth ache gets diabetes. Both the disease don't have anything in common expect being part of same body, but due to the doctor's wrong prescription of medicine a small problem severes to a disastrous one !

The timing of the NOKIA Service Centre is designed in such a way that a Customer should bunk his office, or leave away all his emergency works because their shutter automatically closes at sharp 7 pm daily (whereas all other shops in the market takes this time as the peak business hour).

Since I believe in perfection, I use to give my mobile for even simple problem to the NOKIA CARE centre only.

On 08th March 2012, I went to Smart CARE (NOKIA Service Centre) Pattom, Trivandrum, Kerala. for the problem in keypad and speaker low volume issues in my mobile (N73 Music Edition). I got it repaired and collected on 10th March 2012 (Service Bill No.LW14294). Same day I thought to change the body panel, but it was unavailable in the shop, for which I went to MOBILY, Pattom, Trivandrum and got it changed.

But when I got back after 8 days from MOBILY, multiple problems started in my handset. Start-up tone was interrupting, top speaker sound was not good, joystick movement was defective, memory card not reading, mobile getting heated up within 5 minutes, battery getting discharged within hours without any usage.

For this, I went again to the same NOKIA service centre on 24th March 2012 (Saturday) (I could not go early because of beautiful timing set by your service centre on all days) and explained all above mentioned problems to the representative. Even I gave a separate note for their reference so that they should not miss any of the mentioned problem.

On 29th March, I got an SMS stating the mobile was ready. On 31st March, through the busy traffic of the city, driving away from my residence for more than an hour, I could somehow reach the shop at 7 pm. The person at delivery counter accepted my receipt, but the staff who use to be there at reception, switched off all the lights & fan to remind me that it had closed. This kind of treatment is the first of its kind for me, for which I felt as if insulted.

After recieving the handset (Service Bill No.LW15008), without explaining whether all problems were corrected or not, they collected cash from me and went away getting busy for closing the shop.

After coming out of the shop, when I checked, none of the problems mentioned were corrected. I felt as if cheated for giving my handset to them and wasting my time and losing my self esteem in from of them.

I would like to know what is the concept behind fixing the closing time at 7 pm, and not at least upto 8 pm ? Whether mobile is the only important asset for an individual to concern about, and leave all his important works, because he/she has to get this asset corrected before 7 o'clock of any day ?

I now really feel sorry for my beloved mobile which never gave me any complain for over 4 years, and just for making it perfect I have almost lost it !

Hope this letter may be an eye opener for the company.

friends i purchased a new nokia N73 music edition phone and after 4 months found that i got a problem with the battery of the phone.So i went to one of the nokia care centers and complaint about that and they people told that the battery needs to be checked by the service technician and then they will replace the battery if needed.I submitted the battery and after a day went againa nd the the technician told that the battery is not working fine and they told me that the battery would be replaced.So after 15 days i went again to them and they people probvided me with a re furbished batterya and when i asked they told that the battery is quality checked so i took that one.After 2 days i noticed that the battery is still creating the same concerns and i went again to themm and they people again misguided me and they were big liers.I must tell u people that please do NOT PURCHASE NOKIA PRODUCTS .AS THEY ARE THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDERS...
PLEASE BE ATTENTIVE WHILE GOING TO THE NOKIA CARE CENTERS AS THEY CAN BEFOOL YOU.

We are shocked to bring to your knowledge that we have recently purchased the above-noted set which is infested with certain technical problems. The mobile is getting switched off automatically while walking or making making any movement. Each day i need to switch on the mobile for more than 5 times. The phone even could'nt take incomming calls. Since we have purchased the phone at a very dear price, we expect full value for our money and ask you to replace the set at the earliest. Also ensure that such problems do not creep up in future and that our faith in Nokia remains undaunted.
Every time is visit nokia care they are least bothered to what i say and making me to visit nokia care for more than 4 times by giving lame excuses. i am not at all satisfied with the nokia care services and advise people to stop buying nokia products( esp higher end models)

Nokia N73 ME — NOKIA Service

Hi, I have purchased N73ME (IMEI: [protected]) around 31st May 2007. Recently I have a problem. It switched off automatically. When I start, it gets hangs in the opening screen and again switched off. There after it does not get started. I had submitted the mobile in the following NOKIA care point vide service job sheet number 2647 on dated 23rd Jun 2008.

On 28th Jun I have received the phone. During checking I found that everything is working except Camera (which was working perfectly fine previously). I return them the mobile and they inform me that it will be done in 2 days i.e on. When I contact the NOKIA care point on 2nd July I was informed that it had been send to other centre and already been dispatched. I will be getting it within a day or two. The same explanation I am getting as of now also. I really doubt on the service we are getting on NOKIA phones.

Nokia/Nokia N73 — Not working both mobile and service center employees

i am one of the customer of worst Nokia. I bought Nokia N73 last year. within the 15 days of purchase it got failured with some problem i showed it in nokia center they just flash my mobile and gave it to me. again it got affected with unknown problem for 5 times. whenever i show there they simply falsh the mobile and gave it to me. if i ask they told virus problem. one time i checked with outside shop they told its because of hardware problem not a vrus problem. at that time also Nokia service center people flshed and gave. this and all ok but they are charging 450 ruppees for flashingh the memory even the mobile is in warranty period then whats the need of warranty? It happened in VELACHERRY nokia care chennai. no respect for our product and us. Bloody fellows. son/daughter of , for others please don buy nokia mobiles.

nokia /n73 music edition — joystick/hang

My cell nokia n73music adittion joystick not work proprly. Its automatic work and automatic not worked. My cell imei:[protected]. And my cell is in one year guaranted period(14/04/2008).I have face many problems. I was complaint in my local area customer care center(shree nath telecom), panipat(haryana).But Nokia care executive told me always this joystick is not available now these days. As Soon this joystick come from nokia by courier. I was complaint 75days ago. and my cell was hang in anytime. I was update my software But not resposnse.

I have purchased a Nokia N73ME phone which is still under warranty. It has some problem regarding software. At the nokia care Chembur, Mumbai, I asked for a software update. I was told that software update will be done only if I pay for it. As my product is still under warranty, I am clueless...

Nokai care at Miraj and Karad are not providing a good service.

When i visited the nokai care for repair for my mobile they have spoile my handset settings and not ready to give the proper reason.
