[Resolved]  Nokia X2 - 00 — Mobile is not working since the 1st day of purchase

Hi,

I had purchased NOKIA X2-00 on 18th Oct 2010 from Shree Mahima Mobiles & Gifts store, Malad East & have found the handset to be defective since the 1st day.

The day when i took the mobile at home i found it getting switched off automatically. Also was not able to view the network connection when i use to manually switch on the mobile. The other day i went back to the store-keeper & told him to check the problem. He kept the mobile with him for a day & returned me saying there might be virus in the mobile which i have cleared now. Again when the second day i took the mobile after repairing & found the same problem recurring, i insisted him to give me new piece, as i find it to be defective. He told me that he need to check the problem with nokia service centre & then will replace if they confirm the same. The next day he said the problem was with battery which he has now replaced & tested for the whole day, but again i have found no where the problem solved. The frequency of getting switched off as reduced but the new mobile piece of mine seems to be as worst as second hand mobile.

I am about to go to the Nokia Centre now & would update the status. But this is really the worst part from Nokia cells wherein they are selling the defective piece & troubling the consumers. The store-keeper was also telling that he too have found many defective pieces while selling & they have to keep the Nokia cells as the customers demand for the same. But then till when this would go on. If by 2nd day also the problem is not solved, rather than making customer running here & there, Nokia should replace the mobile immediately & prove their service to be better. Now i hope so i get some justice from Nokia repair centre.
