Null — Telephone Number Not Working

I have BSNL Land line connection for the Last 15 years, I got the connection by depositing Rs. 8000/- Now my complaint is as follows:

From the last October 2007, I was out of station and i was not able to pay the bills and on June 2008 i paid all the pending bills and applied for the reconnection. Now the JTO verbally instruct me to dispose the old connection and get the new number ie wireless and he is not able to give the old connection.

Is there any provision in the law to cancel the old connection without informing the customer.

Please reply me if anybody knows regarding the above mentioned matter.

The Government bring an order to traders shoppers to have card transaction at their shops with free of transaction charges

some of the shoppers having the devices saying to customer if you want to pay through card you have to pay above 2% charges

then customer to avoid charges he try to pay by cash with drawing from ATM or banks

the government immediately announce concern department not to pay any transaction for card transaction at merchant and all merchant must have the device at shops

it should effective immediately to avoid rush in banks doors
