Passport — delay of police verification in visakhapatnam

Respected sir,
I've been applied for the ECNR correction in my passport on[protected] in madurai passport office and my file number is MDU X00023210.till now even the police report has not been received and i'm checking the status by internet regularly.i've got a job and i'm a seafarer.i've been waiting for the passport only.its already took 1 month and above.i dont know that when it will be clear.
