I have applied to get a Passport on my name on 29.04.2008 and still i am waiting even i have completed all the formalities and many people who have applied much after me have got their passport when i am checking the status I am getting news rhat " it will be dispached soon or in a week of time" the same massage i am getting from a long time.

i had applied my passport on 3rd Nov, 2006 application no. A087219 through agent. but i haven't got my passport till now. My police verification and all other process have done. initially a message was shown on their website that FURNISH 2 PERSONAL PARTICULARS FORMS. DULY COMPLETED, INDICATING THE CORRECT PRESENT RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS so i went to passport office in August 2008. They asked me to submit a 2 PP Forms and they assured me that Enquiry will be dispatched in 10 days so i submitted PP forms also but didn't get any enquiry then i went to office again in Jan 2009. this time they said that you have to again submit the 2PP forms and assure me that you will get enquiry within 10-15 days still i have not got any enquiry and they haven't issued my passport to me.
I am thinking to sue passport office in consumer court but this process always takes time.
so now i seek your help. Can you look into matter and do some needful or at least give me right direction to proceed in this matter.
Any help wil be appreciated.

Hi its been 1 and half year by now i had applied for passport.I have visited RPO Kormangala ,Bangalore almost 5times. At last i received my passport 3months back with 3mistakes.I had submitted for correction on the next day on the next day when i received my passport.Then 2months back got a call from RPO office saying they have a photo missing in there database so they insisted me to send a photograph.On the same day i sent 2 Photographs.But till today i havent received my passport.I had done one mistake when i had submitted my application so i have paid 500rs fine.I have the receipt and other supporting documents such as the slip given at post office on the day of submission of my passport application.Excluding that there was 2 more mistakes from the side of passport office.1) My name spelling. 2)House name.

I read the above complains, I don't know if they got any solution till now or not.
Here complains are wrote by few people beside this many people face these type of problems but they don't know how they tell their problem and to whom. But now a days passport is very important thing to get a job or travel somewhere to earn something for economic support. Though maximum people always give correct information carefully in passport form due to their own urgency but they don't get it proper time due to negligence in duty of government's officers and police(because they know their job is secure).
If someone lost his/her job or fall in mental or economical trouble for miss the opportunity of higher study or special offer what will be his/her mentality ? (Although he/she follow every step carefully to get a Passport but did not get it)
I think they can not live properly with healthy mind and may be start crazy activity...

this is about passport delay.i had submitted my application form first time on 11february 2008 by registered post.bt i got it back because of one proof not submit.after that i submitted it on 7 march 2008.bt after that i didnt get any information.i even dont hav file no.as i had submitted it myself by speed post.now how can i know about status of my passport application .i hav form no. and speed post no.only.

I have applied for passport in lieu of damaged passport ( File no. D[protected] in Kolkata office. I have not changed my address. But the status is showing that "Police report has not been received". Why police report is needed in this case ? My earlier file no. is CALA00590707 & police report was clear that time.

I had applied for a re-issue of my passport as it was about to expire in March'09 through the normal process of Passport application, now an urgent travel need has come up due to which i need to travel early next month. I had applied for additional booklet to my existing passport E3267648 which was valid till 27.11. 2012.Kindly refer to file no. Y007275 dated 16.07.2008.At the time of submit ion of documents, I was informed that I will get my passport in max. 3 weeks time. It is already more than 4 weeks, I didn’t received my passport. While checking in net about the status, it shows that process not started due to want of police report. I don’t know whether any advice has been given to the police for verification. Because so far nobody has contacted me for verification.

Since I have to go on urgent official purpose to overseas, this delay is creating severe problem for me. I sent 5 reminders in this regard but of no use, bering a most important service organization in the country, I would have expected much better response from RPO.

I sincerely request you to kindly look into this matter on top priorty basis, and issue me passport at the earliest.

We (Indian citizens) had applied for a passport request on 14 August 2008 under tatkaal scheme.

We intended to apply for passport within 14 days scheme - Rs.2000. The officer incharge at RPO, Lucknow refused stating we can apply only for 7 days scheme - Rs. 2500 for tatkal service.

Passport — Still now I didn't get my passport

Hi,

I had applied for the passport on 01/09/2008.
And also I applied passport for my daughter on 16/10/2008.

Still now I didn't get my passport. (Police enquiry has done two months back)

I am waiting for both the passports to get since My husband had traveled to Singapore in Aug and he is offsick.

Kindly advise me on this.

i have submitted my application for reissue of new passport in liew of my old passport which has been expired on5.08.2008 in the suvidha center at patiala on 19.08.2008. and my file no is CHDZ15398608.
till date i have not received the passport. kindly write me the states of my application for issuing a passport.

I have visited several times in your office. many agents recruited by your office ask for some charges against issue of passport in out of turn. but i m not frollowed them.
passport is not received till date, Kindly take action and send the passport immediately .

Passport — Delay in Passport Issue and delivery

I have applied for passport with File Reference Number: 'E352498' on '[protected]'. Police enquiry is completed 2 months back. When enquired with Hyderabad passport office, They informed that the passport is already dispatched on 22-Nov-2008. Till now I have not received my passport. when checked in the Hyderabad passport office website, the status tracker says either the file number is wrong or not updated.

Iam syed jameel applied for passport on 22 Oct 2008 . its almost 44 days finished still my police verification is pending it is more than a passport deliver time as per agent told me that you will get your passport in 40 working days after submit your application.

i have applied for pass port on 14th august 2008 but i have not received my pass port yet now.

Passport — Complaint

Dear Sir,
I, Md. Anwarul Haque had applied for passport on[protected] but did not get yet. in the beginning I was informed that the "police report is clear but to some avoidable circumstances the dispatch has been delayed and will be dispatch within weekend. But the current status is "the application has sent to the policy section, please see the PRO"

Sir, what is Pro and why it has been transferred after the police verification was clear as i informed through official website.
I also have got the printed copy of these updated material from time to time.

please help me and kindly issue my passport in shortest possible time, i need it urgently.

Hi,

I got my passport last year.

But there is spelling mistake in my own sir name as well my mother's sir name.

The sir name in the application form is correctly mentioned by me (I also have the copy of the same also), but still the passport office person have mentioned that wrongly.

My actual sir name name is KHANDELWAL while on passport it appeared as KHANDEWAL and my mothers sir name is KHANDELWAL while on passport as KHANDELAL.

Please tell me how to correct these sir names as those were filled correct in application form itself.

i myself Mr vikas kumar jalan, want to know that i want to change of name in ssc board memo, because in ration card & voter id and many other records i have my full name is vikas kumar jalan, but in ssc board it si vikas jalan, (kumar) is not there .
so i need in my ssc memo, name to be change & i m getting more difficultties in getting the passport.
so it is a humble request is to do the favour, otherwise give me the sollutions.

My Police Verification and LIU enquiry both have been done 13 days back (i.e., last on 23rd May 2008) and still the online status is showing “Police verification Report Not received”.
Can you please get done the procedure done fast because its being 13 days that the verification is completed and still the status is same, I had read that it takes 45 days to get the fresh passport in normal way and its more than that.

I asked the LIU enquiry officer, he said that my application is still in Nodal center.
I don’t understand the procedure, if the verification is completed than why its getting this much delayed.
Please sir look into the matter and please get it done fast as need the passport by the end of June anyhow.

I applied for my passport in month of aug and my date of application is 20/08/2008, my file number is (HYDW[protected] and i am raising my request from past one month but i am not getting any response from your side, i am stating under Asif nagar police station, and my self and my friend applied at same time he received the passport, for my file there is no investigation.please kindly forward my file so that i can get my passport.Please i request to look in to the Matter as soon as possible.

My Police report have been cleared and submitted in the month of October in 2009 and my passport was expected to dispatched on 6th of Janunary 2010.
But till now i didnot get my passport and i regularly check the status of passport.
Today I also check the status of passport and get the below information:

This Happens only in the state of Bihar. All the workers sitting in the passport office are corrupt and they need bribe for urgent Passport.
Please do it Urgent and dispatch my passport as soon as possible on the given date.
