Passport Complaint — DELAY in Police verification

I applied for passport on[protected] at Bangalore One Jayanagar File No. B06049810 but no police verification done till date. I had already visited Bannergattha police 3 TIMES but all the time they give some silly reason and told within 1 or 2 days they will visit my resident for verification but no one visited. The passport status still shows WAITING FOR POLICE VARIFICATION. My friends who are staying in other place and part of different police station applied passport after me received passport within 2 months. Kindly expedite and do the needful.

In kerala, poeple have made a trend to bribe the police for conducting the police varification for passport, poeple either give money in advacne to police station, or police will make sure of money over phone and then visit your residence area. This happens more if the applicant have atleast a petty case with the local police. In my case, I didnt paid any money for this varification, and i was so sure that i was not having any petty case. A local police man came to my home, and he played many tricks to indirectly make me understand abt the bribe, but i purposefully never paid any money, and i got passport, but late by a week tats all.

you have to vist the local station or the commisioner or introduce some police guys from your freindlist to follow up.
