Personal — passport not received

I applied for ECNR stamp on my passport on[protected]File Reference Number : HYD-M[protected]. I am checking for status in the folowing website (http://164.100.17.25/passmain.php?city=hyd) status is showing that the police verification has not been received.

I am urgent need of passport how should I proceed can I directly consult passport office in Hyderabad so that I can get a clear picture of the status.

I hope you will reply at the earliest.

I have applied passport mre then 8 months before and the police varification has also done 30/05/2009 at Patapur police station, Dist. Ganjam and their file Number was 125/30/05/2009 but i havenot received my passport yet. So in this regard may i request you kindly deliver my passport as soon pls.

Only selected and highly corrupt govt. officials are sitting at Bhubaneswar passport office.

I had applied for passport in August 2004, but not received till date. Last diwali I got a letter from them stating I had to submit PP form again. I wonder what happened to my original PP form ! I had submitted properly filled up forms along with xerox copies of all documents required. ALSO I HAD PAID 150 INDIAN RUPEES AS BRIBE. THE PERSON AT COUNTER INSISTED FOR THAT. BLOODY `!!

It's a shame that after giving 150 indian rupees as bribe, I could not get my passport in 4 YEARS !! THIS COUNTRY SUCKS. It's the same story, in every govt. organization.

I Mr. Sankar Prasad Pani, applied for passport on 15/01/2009 and my reference no is A001988/09. I have already ensured that my application is verified in Chandrasekharpur, pOlice Satation, Sahidnagar Police station and DCP Office Bhubaneswar and fin all these office the application is already verified. Then i have been to Regional Passport office Bhubaneswar to querry about the status of my application and there i came to know that the application is sent to Special Branch, Bauxi Bazar Cuttack for final verification. i have been to the SB, Cuttack and they told me that no such application is recieved in their office.

My humble request to u is kindly let me know where my application is pending now and if the application is sent to SB, Cuttack, then could u please mention the date on which it was sent.

It is urgent for me as presuming that i will get my passport in three months i have applied for a foreign course on environmental law and i have to go by End of September 09. In this context it is highly urgent for me.

Passport Office, Bhubaneswar — Not received passport

I have applied my passport on 04 feb 09 at Bhubaneswar.But till now my status is-Police roport is incomplite and the case is examined.My file referance no is-A004273/09 . Also the telephone no displayed on reciept as well as web is not working .

In Bhubaneswar passport office, there is a somewhat overweight person. Pay him Rs.2500 in bribe and your passports will be ready in two days. I did everything necessary for a Tatkal passport, but it took me almost a month to get the passport, but only after I paid the bribe.
By the way, take heart. My friend did the same thing in the Ranchi passport office as well. He paid Rs.3000 in bribe. So the Bhubaneswar office is cheaper.
