Dear Sir/Madam,
I have applied for a passport on 5th of October, 09 under tatkaal scheme. However i have not yet received my passport which i was suppose to receive within 7 days. My file number is : BHUA02769209. Whenever i check the status online it says "The passport was ready on[protected]" after that no update. Please give me an update where it stands as of now.
Please consider this as serious issue because people have confidence that if they would apply their passport in tatkaal scheme then they would get it immediately with in the time frame.

Dear Sir,
I have experienced some matters which I want to get to your notice.
I went to Regional Passport Office Bbsr to inquire about one of my friend's passport.
I reached there by Friay 1:15 PM (6th Nov 2009), and the inquiry timing is from 10:30 AM to 1:30PM Monday through Friday.
When I reached there and asked the security guard about where is the Inquiry Cabin, I got the following answers
1. The Inquiry is closed for the day, and stated timing as 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
- If this is so, please change the timing stated in the website/ make the concerned person available in the stated time.
2. When we call the passport Office ([protected]: again this number is not available in website too), the phone normally comes busy, as the receiver is put out of the phone to avoid calls, as if we are disturbing by asking some information we need and they are paid to provide to.
3. There is no receptionist present in the Regional Passport Office to attend call!! Now this is amazing. We should not call this office as Regional Passport Office, that represents a State (Orissa).
4. The enquiiry should be made telephonic as in other banking services or someone should attend calls in Enquiry and the phone number should be made available in Website. This will reduce the traffiking of common public near and around the Passport Office. Because it makes extremely difficult for a person who comes to Bhubaneswar just to enquire about the passport or relevent information.
5. I don't see any complaints since a long time in this site. One of the main reason for this would have been the fact that: In above complaints the persons have revealed their information. And they might have been targetted by the Passport Office Employees as well. So, I am not revealing my information.
Please take care of these issue. Else we can'r ever grow up and will always be developing. We must BE A CHANGE TO SEE A CHANGE.
And Sir, please reply in the same forum if you really want to put your points.

the officers of the passport office are not good. They are not helpful. I[censored] ask anything about documents for passport, they don't say anying clear. I[censored] go there for deposit ur passport, at that time they will say u don't have suffcient document. Another day u go there with your document, again they will say u do'nt have that document.I think they are just playing with u.

I appiled for renewal of passport of my daughter Burra Shailaja under File No; F013150 Hyderabad. The police verification has been done and it shows it is clearSpecial Branch No: RNF3186/2009. I want to know why it has been not received yet.]

I applied for No Obligation Return to India (NORI) way back in April 2007. I got clearances from HRD ministry Delhi and Home ministry Orissa. I wonder whats the problem in the passport office? I dispatched 3 packets on same day and time from USA...except passport office the others got them. In my recent visit (in Sept 2009) I ran pillar to post and no one had any clue about my application. I gave a new set of documents and Mr G C Dash promised me that the NORI will be sent as he signed in front of me and was ready to dispose the letter. Now I am in USA when my brother inquired about the same we all got shocked to know that the documents are again missing.
May I request you to please enquire the matter and help me to get the NORI from your office.
