[Resolved]  Passport Office Hyd — Foolish customers in the passport office

Dear Sir,

I am native of Vijayawada and I have a valid passport.Now I
am working at Hyderabad and staying in an rented house.I am applying passport for my wife and my 2 children.But when I enquired at Passport office Hyderabad they asked for Residential address proof
bearing on my wife's name which I am not having.They suggested that I can get the same from MRO Office in my area.When I contacted them they asked me to pay Rs 200 in
e seva where in Police from the respective area shall come
and verify the same and give VERIFICATION CERTIFICATE.
So I have paid Rs 200 in e seva and after 3 days police man
came to my house and asked for my Wife's ration card or proof
of residence.If that is there I would have not gone through this
lenghty process and he went away stating to contact CI.
After continuos follow up I could meet the local CI where he said he could not give the same as he says we have to stay atleast 3 years in the respective house to get the VERIFICATION CEDRTIFICATE.
Now kindly suggest me what to be done and give
the actual procedure which I have to follow as already 1 month has lapsed .I am having all my documents pertaining
to me.
