[Resolved]  Passport Office Hyderabad — Worst Managed Office

I am a citizen of Hyderabad. The passport office located here is providing worst services I have ever seen. I am listing all the things that I have noticed over here. Not sure if this will be useful.

1. Getting into passport office itself is a very big deal. People start standing out of office in big queues from midnight 2.00 am without being sure whether they will be able to get into office or not, after wasting so much of time, energy and effort. They are made to stand out of office until office opens at 9.30 in the morning.
2. There are too many brokers living out of office who have contracts with the security/police over there. If you pay a minimum of Rs.1000, they will sigh the police over there and he will allow the person in. I am one of them to go in that way. They will not bother about people who have been standing for such a long time outsveride.
3. After going in, there are many counters there. Though LED displays are they don’t work and people don’t follow any queue system though coupon numbers are given. ONE HAS TO WASTE A WHOLE DAY IN ORDER FOR THEM TO APPLY ANYTHING RELATED TO PASSPORT.
4. Even after applying for passport we are not sure of what the status of passport is. The status does not get updated even after months.

I don’t understand if the people needing passport office services is so large, why cant another office be opened in any other location and get the things right.
