passport renewal — Delay by Police

Hon'ble Sir,
This is the 1st time I m taking step to complain about any service as there were many but I never thought of complaining. The agenda of my complain is Delay in Passport Renewal. Details of my Passport Complain is as follow:

Passport is at Navghar Police Station for inquiry. I had already visited Police Station with 2 Guarantors & required Documents for verification which was done after Ganesh Festival. Before Navratri 1 of the Police staff had come to my home for residential verification but till now my passport details was not sent to the Passport Office, Thane. Till now I have made 10 visit to the Police station & everytime I visit, they come up with some new requirement or any issue & then ask me to visit next day. All I know is that a Passport Renewal takes only 1 month for normal cases, I have no police record, my profile is clean in the society or my previous all work place. I was about to fly for a job in september but due to this unnecessary delay, I lost 2 job opportunities.
Is there something can be done or it will just be in the complaint blogs here?
