[Resolved]  Passport Service — Delay in receiving the passport

This is regarding the delay in receipt of the passport for my brother AARVIND S TRIVENI.
Reference No: cocB[protected]

The passport was applied on December 29 2010.The police verification was completed the following month and we came to know that the papers are still in the Commissioner's office.It has not been dispatched to the passport office for further proceedings.

It has been more than two months.My brother is supposed to leave for Dubai in the following week.

But due to this delay, he is about to loose his job offer.

Please consider this at the earliest and provide a response.
