Philips India — Problem In LCD Tv. | |
I bought a 32" LCD television on 05/04/2008 (MDL SRL NO CQA1A[protected])from Harmony house Kolkata. I brought the same to Haldia where I am staying. After installation I observed that an audio signal is not appearing in a Japanese channel. I immediately lodged a complaint in Philips internet complains box and paralally I asked local Philips service centre for the same. The same signal is easily appearing in Sonly 32" LCD tv which is parallay connected with my cable line. This incident has checked and inspected by Phillips technical people . They have tried to upgrade their software but failed . They have changed my TV set but the problem not resolved. I asked philips to to give me a compensation, becuase philips is not advertising that they have a technical problem regarding frequency, but they are not providing me the same. I also mailed them several times for clearing this issue but they are ignoring the same. Hence I Compel to lodge the complain in open forum. Was this information helpful? | |

I had placed a request for my old Philips LCD TV to be mounted on the wall. Cal no. was PKOL[protected]. But the technician Subrata Das who visited was extremely rude and when we said that we are not happy with the service as he used 4 small pieces of clamp which was not sealed pack, he became rude and spoke very badly with my father and said that he is taking out the clamp as he does not have time for all this discussion and demanded 800/- for his visit.When we asked him that why is this prices so much as this does not seem to be a company product as it was not sealed pack, he replied that its costly cos we placed a request on philips service centre. If we had contacted him directly, he would have charged only 200/-
When I spoke to the philips area manager through customer care no. as cust care connected me to mr chandan dasgupta, who instructed him to do the work properly, he took out the clamps from my wall and said that Chandan dasgupta will himself come and do the work.
Now my wall is damaged with 4 holes made on it and I had to go through a mental harassment because of the Philips technician as he misbehaved with my father who is a elderly person and created a situation where I had to waste my valuable time trying to get help from the customer care.
I demand an immediate action from Philips India.

01. He didn't opened any sealed packing
02. This part is not available from one week then how come he got the part on single night...?
03. He didn't handovered my old part.he supposed to give the part after the replacing with new part
04.he is in a hurry to get out of my home after fixing the part
05. He given the manual bill with cancelled complaint number and there is no computer generated bill for new part.
He collected 6000 bucks for the new part and service charges 800 rs
he clearly cheated me with the old repaired part, he collected the new part amount.so this is I'm not expected from PHILIPS dealers, if you not quickly responding to my concern of cheating, then i will go further like i will raise this concern to consumer forum and get the jobs done.
Because I'm working as a customer care manager in well known luxury brand car company.
