[Resolved]  Platinum Circle — Fraud by charging 6999/-

North 24 Parganas, West Bengal

From company called Platinum Circle. They were saying they were from VISA and MASTERCARD department (representing 8 banks). And they were offered saying you’re the privileged VIP customer we are offering 4 gift items which was worth 60000rs and you have to pay 6999rs as taxable amount.

On strong cross questioning - they felt nervous and started abusing and slanging me..
They asked me for my card #, expiry etc BUT i gave them only the year of expiry (NOT MONTH) and my mobile number (which they anyways have)

Fraudster name - Mr Anup . They called from [protected]. This looks like a Tata Indicom number registered from TamilNadu.

Can the govt look into this please?
