Policy Bazaar — No Responsibility and Pathetic Service

Recently I purchased a car insurance from Policy Bazaar, before placing an order I asked for all the facilities I am going to get if I am buying from them .

Till date haven't received original policy document and nor resolution of issues raised by me after placing an order.

Pathetic customer support and lousy behavior. Would suggest ban on such sites an recomed every one not to use this site for any purchases.

Policy take no responsibility only they generating leads and money, no transparency.
Once if you paid the premium and after payment they do not respond to you, you have to respond for your policy

you are absolutely right and they work only for brokerage. Once customer paid, they wont even pick their call. Pathetic service

I had been mentally harrashed by this group when i thought of claiming for my accident...never ever buy there any product.

1. I am sorry for your experience. I am the CEO of policybazaar, and saw your complaint here, and of course decided to investigate. I found the following.

Please find below the history of the booking of Mr. Mukesh Kesharwani.

He made the payment on the 30TH Jul’09 at 1348hrs and We sent him an acknowledgment SMS at 1426hrs the same day. The customer had requested for the change in the address when he sent us the scan copy of the documents for issuance of the policy but we had missed that request and forwarded the documents to our Product Team for issuance of Cover Note.

The Cover Note was issued the same day and we emailed the scan copy to the customer. The customer after looking at the Cover Note emailed us that the address was not the one he had requested us. The customer called us up also and we apologized to him for the miss and requested him to give us about 10-12 days for the endorsement since the address is different to the one on his RC. The customer agreed to that but on the 10TH Aug’09 he sent us an email stating that he hadn’t received the endorsed policy. We checked with Product Team on how long it’s going to take to get the endorsement and they asked us to give some more time as the insurance company had not give it to them yet.

We called up the customer and requested for few more days but he was quite irate. The next day, 11TH Aug’09, Product Team managed to get the endorsement and we emailed the scan copy to the customer and couriered the physical copy in the evening and updated the customer.

From what I see there was a mistake on the address. However please do note the endorsement got to you within 12 days. This is actually quite exceptional in insurance, where policies take a while to get to customers.

I am sorry we could not meet your expectations, and if there is anything wrong in my understanding, please do let me know.

Sir I take four wheeler insurance plan for my vehicle through policy bazaar in Nov.2017 .now I want to transfer it to other person .I talked to policy bazaar customer care for transfer it and they told that send an application and original copy of RC of your vehicle to and an other person mail and I send it on 15-03-17 . But after a month past I didn't get any reply . than I again call their customer care no. i.e. 18002088787 but they didn't talked me and false arguing me . I called them 10 to 15 times but their representative call me same reply that we transfer your call to our service department but I got no reply from them . I am totally disappointed now why I take police from online . But sir is this right to cheated us. Please do some action against them so that they don't cheat to others.

I am not getting response from your policy bazaar team. Its is easy getting done from policy bazaar but that much difficult when it comes to claim insurance.
As i have taken a new health Insurance and the Policy Reference Number: PBHI12812 & Application No [protected]. and want additional document for further process provided by medical practitioner. which has been send by me by speed post to the fowlling adders APPOLLO DKV corp office 10th floor, tower-B, Building No10... Gurgaon. and has come back to me. pls tell me what to do?

I have taken a car insurance policy today and since then I am trying to call them at their [protected] but NO REPLY is the only answer. This thing is looking fishy.

Guys do check, they have a strong service team for all sorts of insurance. I bought a term plan of Birla Sun Life from them. Would definitely recommend them over any insurance agent, broker or even insurance company employees. I guess they are based out of Gurgaon.
Even i bought a LIC Plan from and i strongly recommend them. They actually offer unbiased advisory services.
Dont endorse These 2 guys-ankit and bharti are same and fooling others

@Venkat: Venkat, i guess they all are of same league,,,, the best part is regulator doesn't allow them to take payment on behalf of insurance company and still these companies are doing it. It's quite funny and may be the regulator needs to take some action on this.
This sites should only be used for evaluating various products and once you like some particular product, buy that from the original insurance provider. Their calculators are real good tools for evaluation.

I was looking for motor policy. I found a few sites earchng through google. I tried both policybazzar and Since, I am from tamil nadu, I saw had offices in a few places I tried them. I also found no other site gave me a comparison for two wheeler.

I got the policy with in 24hours in email. I also found they are not giving my lead to any insurance company like policy bazaar or bimadeals etc. They are IRDA approved broker and they closed the policy form the company i chose.

Tehy also told me to issued the check directly in favor of the company not in name. This gave me further assurance. Now i have laos purchasaed few other policies through them.

I am very happy with I will recommend tehm to anyone. They seeded to be genuine.
hey guys dont rely on any comment posted here... every opinion here, is actually a part of social marketing of the companies.

Policy Bazaar is a very wonderful website, you get all the plan details on the website, its kind of super market on WEB, really liked it. you can get the policy online, wonderful thinking and all those websites who are technolgy based and in evry sector, Infibeam is also another good website..
Yesterday I purchased a Term insurance from Aviva through Policy Bazar for 30 years term & yearly premium is 21887/-.But, today I recevied a telephonic call from Aviva regarding short premium recevied .But this premium amount & form calculate by policy bazar representative(mr. abad ali). when i told same situtation to Aviva, they told that next procedure will be start after recieve balance payment. Please clear this matter as soon as possible. Details as per given:

Really thease comment are totally wrong everyone to show a marketing group. if you are thinking to purchase a new policy just try to ensure that this is good and well policy.
