[Resolved]  Prajavani and Deccan Herald Newspaper — taking money and not supplying news paper

I paid Rs 300 by cash for news paper deccan herald for 6 months Offer. This was said by a Deccan hearld Marketing person he belongs under Mukundh([protected])Deccan Hearld executive person of Marathahalli Area.I paid money on 24 March 2009(Receipt # 11383). He said he will send news paper from 01 April 2009 to 30 September 2009, later he told will send from 10th of April 2009.
But as of now i didn't get papers properly for continously a week also. If I contact the area exective Person Mukundh(Deccan Heard) he will tell that I will extend the subscription date & compensate & correct it.He(Mukundh) asked me to contact the area news paper agent with out giving agent number, with out having agent number how can I contact. If I call him he is not responding properly he is giving unwanted reasons.

I request the Deccan Hearld Ciruculation Department to take the required & immediate action ASAP.

I also faced same problem with this DECCAN HERALD scheme. I feel I cheated by Deccan Herald. They took advance money Rs 600=00 through Cheque and they gave papers only for 2 months. I think I called their office more than 25 times to look into this. Looks like they dont have control on agents. My question is if they dont have control over agents then why they started this scheme.

Anyhow I got cheated from Deccan herald and I decided not read this news paper in future.

I suggest everyone not to go for this scheme.

DECCAN HERALD NEWS PAPER — TAKING MONEY AND NOT SUPPLYING PAPER

I had paid cash on 07/03/2009 and deccan herald news paper agent gave me Receipt, stating 29/03/2009 to 30/09/2009, for this period news paper will supply,

but they started suppling paper on 07/04/2009 and stoped suppling on 06/09/2009.

I called to newspaper agent Maltesh hebbal area he told your supply period is over, on 10/09/2009.

and he has not come to see the receipt whatever there with me,

so, i called to Deccan herald newspaper company, they told in system it is showing 15/03/2009 to 15/09/2009, then i told to them i will come and show you the receipt which is given by your agent,
they said they will send and sales executive, to solve this issue, but not yet come to solve the problem

I also paid 360/-Rs for six months Deccan herald Subscription through cheque. I facing issues daily that they put news paper regularly irregular. I need to call them everytime and they say this will not repeat . This has become daily nuisance. The person who gave this subscription offer name is Aravind and his contact is [protected] .
