I have been loyal with Prestige for last 25 years. However, I am left with a lot of question marks about product quality given the recent
purchase experience which I list under. I had purchased a 3 burner Prestige TTK cookpot Potrest from Prestige Smart Kitchen, Plot NO.237, Bapuji Nagar Bhubaneswar - 751009, Orissa ,Land line :[protected] location with the following details
- Model Number - GTO3LAI
- Slip (payment) Number - 945678
- Warranty Card Number - 1166250
- Date of purchase - 22/10/2011
However during the last 10 months, I have faced several problems on the operational side and at this point I don't want to risk my life with the faulty product. The problem is threefold and at this time this product should be recalled given these issues
1) The burner has gas is leaking badly and there is strong odor of gas whenever burner turned on. This is a life hazard for me , family who are at kitchen and also guests
2) The auto ignition feature does not work on the machine
3) Pot rest is not even and this causes the vessels to not receive heat uniformly and not be balanced when placed on the burners
The Smart Kitchen dealer had tried to repair the product twice but this has been of no avail and the problems continue. At this point, I am running out of patience and discontinued usage of this life threatening product piece. I request that you re-instate my confidence in the brand and make a displeased buyer happy again. I request that you replace this faulty and life threatening product with a plain 2 burner oven (manual and not automatic). I feel cheated and lied by the Prestige office and nobody wants to help me. I lost all my money and added risk to me and my family at the kitchen. Such irresponsible customer response units should lead to the closure of such immoral companies. Was this information helpful? |
