[Resolved]  PURE-IT WATER PURIFIER — Battery replacement- service horror

All the complaints registered above really shows the callous and lackadaisical attitude of the pure-it service. I too have faced a similar situation. I called on 5th march, - was told that they maintain 48 hour TAT and person will come on Monday. Monday went by - Tuesday, 10th March, at 3.10 pm I called and asked for the battery replacement update. I was told" We will try our best to send today" - I was shocked with their attitude- in this time when a slip in customer service means losing a customer, these guys are so callous that they are not bothered on the fact that they have failed to provide service in the first instance and are still not sure when they will send their service person. In the meantime a call from the Service outlet of pure-it came (Address- Suru Shyam Diagnostic Centre, Suru Shyam Heights, Mental Corner, Alandi Road, Pune) - and informed that since I go to office please come before 9 in the morning and after 8 in the evening. The person kept the phone without any comment. As expected from a stupid, customer-disoriented company, nobody came on Tuesday as well as Wednesday. On Thursday, 12/03/09, I called up the outlet and asked when they will come - a person replied in an extremely rude manner and with a goonda type attitude in his voice that he doesn’t know who has taken the call previously, they are operating only between 9 am to 5 pm and they will not be able to do anything further- I asked that within these 6 days they have not got a time to call and say that now we will be coming to change the battery- the person without answering disconnected the call. I called up pure-it helpline asked them to provide all the names who has taken my call since5th march- Chief coordinator Mehul spoke to me, he told that he cannot divulge people's name who has taken the call- WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO UNILEVER- AFTER HARASSING CUSTOMERS YOU ARE WRONGLY DENYING CUSTOMER FROM THEIR RIGHT TO INFORMATION- DONT THINK PEOPLE TO BE FOOLS - EVERY TELECALLER HAS TO DIVULGE THEIR NAME WHILE SERVICING- i threatened them that I am going to lodge complaints against them- Still Mehul didn’t tell their names- and also told that they are not aware of the names of service providers -WHAT? YOU DONT KNOW WHO IS YOUR OUTLET INCHARGE? After sometime a person called and said that they will be confirming me the time when they will come- nobody called back to confirm - I again called the outlet and threatened them only to receive their service after this long trail. Mehul called me and asked that they are informed by the service out let that we want the people to come after 8 pm, hence they cannot do the replacement- IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HEAD- AFTER SALES SERVICE HEAD WANT TO FOOL CUSTOMERS- DONT YOU HAVE ANY CONTROL ON YOUR VENDORS/DEALERS? YOU PEOPLE ARE DECEIVING CUSTOMERS WITH YOUR RUBBISH, LACKADAESICAL SERVICE TYPE- I WANT THESE STRONG ACTION AGAINST THIS OUTLET AND YOUR VENDOR MANAGEMENT TEAM. IF NOT PLEASE MEET ME AT CONSUMER FORUM FOR THE CONSEQUENCES

After sales service is pathetic and i have been requesting since 15 days and the answer given is standard that we will get back to you in one hour/one day.
i will definetly not recommend this product to anybody. Its a shame to the company which boasts about so many things nationally and inter-nationally.
i have decided to break it in front of their office in case i get to know where there office is.

pure it water purifier — Poor after sale service

This company has nothing to do with customers once the product is sold to them. I am waiting.. waiting and waiting for their representative to come and replace battery. Without the battery the purifier unit is just useless. Knowing that we have now stopped using the purifier.

I called to their call center to get their representatives address in my city, Pune. The address is incomplete and they don't have concerning representatives even name and contact number. Therefore I am not able to find out his address.

This company is most unorganized in after sale service, I would say. One should think ten times before buying this product. Merely because it is available in less cost we should go for it. What if it becomes useless after 4-5 months because o[censored]navailability of service?
I booked for changing of Batery kit on 8.3.2009, till 30.3.2009 they won't change the batery kit, after several time mobiled to your bangalore customer care staff, atlast myself angry with your bangalore customer care unit regarding this type of dead slow service, by god sake the batery kit changed on 31.3.2009, what is this, please take care for old customer i.e., like me in future and also this type worst service the customers will get angry like me.

Pureit Water Purifier — POOR AFTER SALSES SERVICE

I have a pureit water purifier, the ID no. of which is [protected]. I had requested for a battery over telephone no. [protected] on 20th April, 2009. The request no. of the same is 09KOL[protected]. I was told that I would be receiving it within 3 working days. But till date I haven't received it. I have complained 3 times over the same helpline number. Everytime I was told that I will receive it within next 2 working days but the next two working days never came.

I do have a patient in my house for which I have purchased your product on the advice of my doctor. Now I really regret for purchasing your product. I request you to take back your product and refund me my money if possible. Your product is a garbage without the battery. If you do not have the ability to provide after sales service then why are you selling the product. If you do not have adequete infrastructure then give the battary in open market for sale, then we can buy it from the market.

I am in a great trouble due to your poor service. I request your to look into the matter seriously and take needful steps at the earliest. I will never suggest anyone to go for your product.

I have vide request ID no.509/BLR/754/015009 dated 02.07.2009 asked customercare to replace the Battery Kit. But till today even after 10 days this battery kit is not replaced.

Dear Sir

I have purchased 4 years back a Pure it machine at Chennai in the name of Mrs. Mangayarkarasi having its serial number RPM[protected]. I have changed the battery when it expires through call centre.

On[protected] around 9.00 a.m.I have informed your call centre 28237373 to change the battery. They have replied me it will come within three working days. I have waited till[protected] evening no one have come. I have again informed them and gave a complaint for it (complaint No. being[protected]. The person told me that they will supply on the same day or in the next day morning. No one turned up. I have again complained about it on[protected] and got the address of your office situated at Alwarpet without phone no. I went to your office on 09-07-09 and asked about the status. The lady in the reception didnot tell anything about it. She doesnot care about it. But the office boy told that it was not invoiced, then I have asked him about the complaint, the office boy only told that it will be supplied today itself. He had contacted some one over phone and asked him to supply immediately.

After one hour your representative came and supplied the battery. Kindly go through the matter and reply at the earliest.

I have purchased a Pureit water purifier and this is second battery replacement and they claim that within 72 hours they will deliver and I booked it on 13th October and today is 26th and so far I have not received the delivery even after 14 days as of today.

My battery is totally drained and it is completely red already and these people dont care if we drink that water and go to hospital even such is the kind of serviced Hindustan Uniliver is giving and they dont care at all the problems a customer is facing and even after such a delay they give standard replies like we will do it today and tomorrow.

I stay in Kaggadaspura and their office is located in Domlur which is just about 10 mins drive from my place and consider in 14 days they are not able to deliver and god help if it has to come from other city may be we will not get it in one year also.

At the time of buying the product they make such tall claims all of which have fallen wayside and I am yet to see a water purifier company who is so in sensitive towards the plight of a consumer and dont know now what to do.

I am seriously contemplating filing a case in the consumer court for the harassment they have meted out to me and we are seriously facing a risk to our health as battery is totally red already for this reason I had ordered about one week before it was to become red but that also no use.

So now i am not left with any other option but to file a criminal case against pureit

Pureit claims that battery will long last for 1500 litres of water. Me and My husband cannot drink 1500 litres of water in amonths time.
Now it is ur responisibilty to check the pureit dumb machine which you have given us and give some service ( After more than 20 calls helpline I am still expecting service !)

This is the worst worst service provider I have ever seen. you should get a award for your worst service.

I agree that thePuerit team is guilty of misrepresentation and are really the worst after sale service provider in the country. It is unfortunate that they are so prompt while giving demonstartion and selling the machines but when it comes to after sale service they just dissapear.
I have also experienced the same behaviour from the pureit team.I would NOT recommend this product yo anyone as there is no after sales support from them. I had order a battery kit 19 days before & have complained them atleast thrice but nobody appeared at my doorstep till date to deliver the battery kit. I feel being cheated .
