[Resolved]  RADIO ONE -94.3 FM BANGALORE — Prize not received after winning contest

i don under stand d concept of playing 13 songs per hr ... instead of playing songs only half of it its better not to play it only please remove this concept n play songs fully...n MJ pruthvi sum times over act in his show...

I have been a regular listener to radio one for more than one year now. When the contest is anounced in the radio I call up immediately without even wasting a second It keeps on ringing no one picks up the call I tried calling continiously for more than five to six times no one receives it just keeps on ringing. I have tried this for more than 60 contests.

Then they anounce some winner which I think is completely fake. I tried messaging system also I have messaged more than 100 times the right answer even then I haven been chosen for the right answer of which they put on air the person who gives the wrong answer. I think the company is just running the contest to fool ppl.

I would suggest they just play music and ask those MJ and other advertisements to stop.

However, i was informed that i would be getting a call from radio one & the instruction as to how to claim the prize will be given, i havent received any call or correspondence till date.

I have won 2 Passes for Kailsah Kher concert on 24th october and was suppose to get a call from their. Today is 22 and nothing has happend. it was on 20th october i won, in RJ Anjaans show.

I was on air yesterday(22/10/2009) at 94.3(Radio One) with you and you announced a gift voucher worth Rs 1000/- from Thai Sawai for me which I'm very happy about. You took my number [protected] and said someone will get back to me shortly. I’m really excited and told all my friends and colleagues about this.

I’m still waiting as I haven’t received any call from the concerned people although I’m sure I haven’t missed any call either.

So, I’d be thankful to you if you could let me know when I can expect the call/ collect the voucher.

I has won a price on radio during Diwali of an gift voucher from Anand Sweets for 500/Rps and I have sil not received any calls from them for this.

Have been sending SMS while Anjan's Show is running but no wone replys .

its not all about winning but i thing there should be some kind of deseance to keep the Excitement for people to call.

Yes they are fooling people around half of the times their lines are busy ...

I agree too with above complains.
These RJs speak very cooly on air but are very rude b4 recording our call.

Imp point is that they dont bother to call us for collecting the prize we won.

This is srikanth here... I have won lots n lots of prizes from 94.3 radioone... And i have recieved each n every single prize... I suggest listeners to respond to the calls from radio one...
And comming to the SMS issue... All Sms delivered will be read and responded immiedietly by the RJ's... no message will remain unread...
Now abt calls... picking calls from all the 15 lines at a time is the toughest possible thing... Bt, i think listeners should be patient and wait for their turn... All calls will be attended...
But still i can assure that any issues regarding the prize matterswill be resolved soon...

yup...very true..even i won some free petrol from the show but no body called after that...this is all .

Even i am very disappointed with radio one. And after reading all this, all the more. I had won Rs 800 3weeks back in bargain phataphat and was told i'd be contacted in 1 hour by RJ. Its been 3weeks now and no one even receives in the only number i had. Red FM was extremely punctual with prizes and all.
Its extremely disappointing and has diminished all my excitement to participate any further.

I have won several prizes on radio one, and every time i have got the prize, sometimes because of some or other error few ppl are leftout, dont have to hype so much that u dint get the prize, anyways i[censored] get the prize thats bonus for u, i[censored] dont then why to worry to 3 rupees SMS.

I love the programs at Radio One. Too early to comment on the Contest Winning thing. I had won 6 Litres of petrol last evening. Still haven't recieved any call. May be I was out of reach or something.

I will wait for sometime and see :)
