Rajesh — Vodafone Services Deficiency - Not good customer services and poor standards in India

Recently I applied for post paid connection for vodafone mobile through mini store based in sector 28 Chandigarh. The services provided by the staff named Mohit who is the main person responsible for servicing vodafone customers is not very professional. although Vodafone is a well reputed international brand and has got strong presence in International market which I agree to and I have personally used it's services abroad as well but there customer services in India are pathetic and very poor.

This person after giving me the new SIM card told that it will be activated within 24 hrs but now it is almost 4 days and the connection has not yet activated. whenever I try to call him and enquire, he never attends the call and ignores it and when I try to call the call center customer services, some typical uneducated customer services staff attend the calls and the communication skills even I selected to speak in english they prefer to speak in typical punjabi and are very rude in answering the calls. They are not bothered about your concern and told me that I need to contact the mini store person who gave me the SIM.

So my concern is looking at this situation, I being a customer who is going to take care for these concerns and where are the Audit standards done by Vodafone, they don't even the supervise and check the quality of the staff before hiring. They just want cheap and uneducated staff and it doesn't bothers them even the customers are harrased.
