[Resolved]  Reader's Digest — READERS DIGEST SWEEPSTAKES

Hi i too received a letter yesterday and i posted in by saying yes. And now only i am coming to know that this is all a scam. What should i do now..

my name is preshnev, trichy.tamil nadu i read carefully of the complaints of some customers, regarding i was recd. one letter ie., u r the winner 2010. and also cash prize 26 lacs. my reaction is also less, becas i am confused, ok i will wait what happend in future?

suppose my prize amt confirmed 26 lacs and recd. chque. definitely i share to all viewers reader's digest is genuine. may be not recd. just neglect and continue my job.

i am calvina braganza from goa. every time i recieve letters saying that i am in the final stage of sweepstakes and i will most possibly receive a car or a huge sum of cash but i have not recieved anything till date as even though i am a loyal customer for readers digest since more rhan 5 years. iam anxiously waiting for my prize to come but still i have not recieved even a consolation prize a single time.

i am very much fed up of buying the products as they are so costly and i cannot afford them and i cannot spend my precious time in the stupid sweepstakes committee since i am a loyal customer of readersdigest since more than five years and i recieved all false promises of winning prizes and i have not recieved even a consolation prize till date. hoping that some good action is taken regarding this complaint.

i had participated in readers digest sweepstakes 2009. i was informed that i had been selected in the list of 3500 assured winners list by correspondence again and again. But i am sorry to inform that it found false and none of the communication received from your end not even on my mail id. i think it is not fair. i think a communication regarding not winning etc must be informed to the participants. if many correspondence can be done before draw so a single correspondence may also be done after draw.

Scam! First i got many emails from readers digest stating i am up for running to win a major cash prize if i fill in application along with subscribing to magazine. I did not reply. Then I got an envelope in the mail asking to fill out a bunch of forms and sending them in a yes envelope that would win me $500 000 plus a car. I did not respond thinking that would be the end of that but no. Couple days ago I got an email saying in a couple days tey are ready to transfer $500 000 plus thousands more into tha bank of my choice as long as i respond right away. Unbeliavable that they would try to manipulate people that might be financially vulnerable. It makes me sick. I'm interested in anybody elses take on this.

readers digest sweepstakes has all the numbers already pick out before the draw date and it is pretty bad when you cheat your customers by them entering like everybody else does...

reader digest — Not received any Reader's Digest Book Till Now

This is to bring into you kind notice that, I had applied for monthly subscription of Readre's Digest Book for Year 2008, for which Pre- payment of Amt.Rs.449 has been debited from my HDFC credit card in the month of 14th Dec'10, I have not recieved any books so far ...
So, kindly arrange refund of my money or issue books. I never seen this kind of worst service from your side. If i didnt get proper response i will go legally...

I agree with the delay in delivery of issues. I do not understand the reason for the Authorities of the Readers Digest to refrain from answering the customers. I also experience the delay.

I think it is now the high time for me to ask if you are really including my name in the draw or is their really a draw that happen because its been too long for now that i been joining but nothing happen.
