Hello People who are victims like me,

I have an account with rediff shopping & sadly I have nothing good to talk about the company.

Firstly, I am not the kind of person who would talk ill or find reasonings to place a complaint, however if i am made to invest all my time and energy leaving the most important chores of my life , just like anyone else who is not too happy would post a complaint

I placed an order over 2 months back for a set of eye shade + Head cushion and happily paid for cash on delivery over and above their regular shipping charge. To my horror when I received the shipment I got a cheap KOREAN EYE shade from Ojjas being one of their retailers, now, I forgive Ojjas as a retailer as it did not take long that I called rediff for a refund that I was told by rediff they would do it, as they first confirm with retailers before doing so once the shipment is received as a return by them

So, after a 2 week wait time when my product was returned so that I can get a refund I waited for one month, I was told I would get a cheque automatically but that never happened. Unfortunately, I had to change my address by the end of that month so I requested for a direct credit into my account as I did not have the new address ,also I could not have risked receiving the cheque on the old one as no one would be there to collect it.

After over a week's time of waiting I called back as I did not see the refund reflect in my account & I was in the new address, so taking advantage of the situation rediff tells me that there is a technical error in the system due to which they cannot do the direct crediting & instead again offered to send cheque at the new address, well, as I would need to travel more than a few locations it was not feasable for me to do that so I requested they would do A DIRECT CREDIT as they promised into my account

I have not spoken about the hold time for order 6511157 , but its more than 10 mins atleast for each call I have made and atleast 3 disconnections by their executive. Also, experienced several lies for a callback that never happened on different days & lied to that the amount was credited towards the end for over a week.

Anyways, with all the hassle I have been through I realized that websites like ebay.in,india plaza or homeshop18 are better as their shipping fees are low or high depending on the item, also the cost of the product is much less. SO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND REDIFF TO ANYONE OR USE THEM FOR PLACING AN ORDER WITH OVER 4 Hours on phone for one small amount of refund that would have been better managed by ebay or other such mediators.

Spoke with executives like Vidya id 40225, Atish etc who have not been able to resolve it & only tried using words to convince which is a total failure as at the end of the day ITS WORDS NO ACTION.
REDIFF STINKS TO THE CORE!

I do not know if this will solve my problem ,I cannot asses my rediff mail as it shoes password in correct,as i am using it for 15yrs how can it be so now.can some one help, i do not know if my a/c is hacked.my alternate mail id is [protected]@yahoo,co.in

This is to inform you that I had placed an order (#6589668) online on 04-aug-2011 at Rediff Shopping. Payment also made through net banking. Payment also cleared.

The material would be dispatched from GenX Trading, JAY SHREERAM PLOT NO-20 SECTOR-2 NEAR CHARKOP POLICE STATION OPPOCITE BMC SCHOOL CHARKOP KANDIVALI WEST, MUMBAI 400067.
But the same yet not dispatched. As per order, the same should be delivered by[protected]

I had contacted GenX Trading @ [protected] / [protected] regarding the same. But, I had not received any satisfactory answer.

Request you to take currect action against GenX Trading and Rediff Shopping

someone commenting through rediff service that is TD-57333 in my mobile ie vodaphone [protected] "beta anna hazare tera baap he" at 10:59 pm at least 10 msg continous.. what the hell with the company is any one can feed any thing such that rubbish thing.. what is the use of security in such services.. how THE THING GOES WRONG

I had purchased a Blackberry Pearl Flip 8220 Mobile Phone from Rediffshopping on 30th May 2011 for Rs.8070. After 20 days we found that defective as the battery is drained out after 12Hrs and the mobile is getting heated after making short calls also. I had complained to rediff and they made arrangement to pickup the product from me on 4th of July by Aramex courier. I got a mail which I am attaching stating that it will be replaced in 7 working days. After that I had send atleast 10 mails and the reply is the same as given

for last 4 days i am not able to open my certain mail which i have recd.in the month month of may ,june and july 2011.

always when i try to open it say"sorry we are unable to process try later"
i cann't understand the problem,i can open current mail.

My name is Tarun from Delhi. On 2nd july, 2011 I made a mistake by ordering a product whose order number is 6527397 from rediff shopping.
This fake website guarantees a product delivery in 7 days but I got this product on 3 august, 2011.
Secondly, it is a defective piece that they have sent with some items missing in the kit might be a used kit.
Thirdly, this product costing was 288 incl. shipping charges but still their courier guy asked for 303rs.

It was delivered in my absence so my family members had given that money to these fake guys.

I would appreciate if you look into this matter and take an action against this fradulent activites. This is not just about my product but other people as well. They ask for credit card details and bank details as well from the customer and I believe one should not give these details to these frauds. I hope you will teach them a lesson so that they will stop this scam.

Why company like rediff shopping showing something else & selling cheap product to customer?

Footpath venders In mumbai sell these type of shirts for 50 rs & so I doubt is there any footpath vender associated with rediff shopping?

Unable to login my account since today morning.

The provider rediff deal ho jaye accessed thru' rediffmail website took the order and collected money against order no 6553902 dt 18/07/2011 for two coupons of food at Golden Wok restaurent but sent only one coupon. Numerous calls to their call centres and mails to their customer support have gone unanswered. Some of their call centre executives even dis-connect the call as soon I identify myself

I ordered one mobile on rediff website with features :
3G, wi-fi, 8MP cam, auto flash, 8GB internal memory, GPS, long battery backup, etc....

and they sent one china mobile with features:
No 3G, No wi-fi, VGA cam with defect view, Not working flash, 1MB memory, only 35 min battery backup etc......

when i sent mail to Customer care, they are not reaponding for any mail.


SO ITS CHEATING WEBSITE.

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM REDIFF.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.

As per discusssion today with Mr. Nikesh, he said that my hosting services was already get closded as per the new policies of your company. But I had not received any such regarding email or call from your sided until today. As I was joined you since 12-Mar-2004 for the same you was providing me 2 or 4 mb space for my presentation website in same package Rs.1599/- (now Rs.1695/-).

And as I had already renew your services for 3 years for the same uo tp 2014.

I personally get shocked as my web site is not opended in explorer, I required the clarification for the same urgenty else I have to compalin against you at trabunal for the same.

My name is Vasudha. i ordered Blackberry 8830 on 8th July 2011 and got my order delivered on 12th July 2011. however the handset is not working i have raised my issue many times with their customer care and have received no respone from them yet. i also have tried calling their customer care they only advised me to raise my issue online(option given in the website). i have done it many times. even i have tried to contact then through their and vedor's email id ( <[protected]@rediff.co.in>, [protected]@ojjasenterprizes.com).

I am unable to connect with rediff bol. it is giving the following massage. please solve the problem as soon as possible.

"Rediff Bol was not able to establish a connection to the server."

"It needs your input to setup connection option and may need support from your system Administrator."

Rediff bol shows above two lines of messages. I have checked connection settings. And default is recommended option is selected with 80 port and IE settings checked mark is selected.
Please tell me solution of this problem

Through Rediff Deal Ho jaye on line offer, I had purchased a service order (No.6450612) for pest control in my house on Dr Sarup's Pest Control Pvt Ltd, Jamshedpur. The purchase date was 14th May 11 and the order is valid upto 10th Aug 11.

Either rediff or Dr Sarup's have any obligation to contact the customer and ensure execution of the order. Though it sounds funny, to an extent it is okay. But the best part is that Dr Sarup's establishment is not available on phone most of the time through a number is indicated on the order. After lot of trials, once I could manage to speak to some one at Dr Sarup's who took all required details and promised to send me an SMS with an appointment date and time to do the pest control job. It was almost two weeks now and the gentleman never cared to get back to me. I had sent an e-mail to rediff on dealhojaye.rediff.com and it bounced back after 24 hours. Normally, e-mail going to a wrong mail id, get bounced almost immediately or within an hour. Money-wise the order is not significant but on business eithics it is.

I would suggest Rediff on line marketing organisation not to get into business ties with such fly-by-night business setups. I would also like to suggest to all customers using Rediff, specially dealho jaye customers to make them responsible for execution of orders or for refund of money in case the orders are not executed within a time frame. As far as I am concerned, I will never use rediff on line marking or rediff deal ho jaye..not even by mistake.
