[Resolved] Redington India (New Delhi) — CANDID IN REPLACING HANDSET | |||
I have procured Blackberry 9700 last year in March and had to send it to authorized service centre in December, Redington India Pvt. Ltd., in Okhla, New Delhi. I had to send it to them as the trackpad was not functioning. Though my handset was under warranty but still they charged me 1500INR for servicing. To my utter surprise, they were not in a position toocked justify why did they charge me the above amount. Now again I am facing the same problem with the trackpad and have to send it back to them. I politely requested for a replacement of the current handset as it seems that this particular handset has some sort of manufacturing defect. But I was very rudely told that "DO WHATEVER YOU FEEL LIKE WE WILL NOT REPLACE IT". I tried to make them understand that my warrnaty would be over early next month and as it is a defective handset the repairing cost would drill a hole in my pocket. I am really shaken by their behaviour and regret buying a BLACKBERRY handset. I spent 30000INR for a better technology which turned out to be a fiasco.
