[Resolved] Regional Passport Office Delhi — Delay in renewing of passport | |||
Dear Sir, I had applied to renew my passport on 26/09/2011. Subsequently I was issued file no. DLH-D004343. Police verification happened after 15-20 days which was clear. After sometime status of application changed to "Police Report is clear application is under process". This has been status till date. I have filed an RTI on 21/03/2012, there has been no action on same. If the Police report is clear then why is there so much delay in issuing of passport. I have already lost 2 opportunities to apply for visa. Will the concerned authority kindly take a note of this & issue the passport at the earliest.
