Regional Passport Office Hyderabad — Delivery/Status of Passport | |
Dear Sir, I have applied for a re-issue of an existing passport on the 19th of March, 2009 under the Tatkal Scheme at the Regional Passport Office located at Secunderabad. In the receipt that I received on the payment of Rs 2500 as the re-issue fee, it was mentioned that the passport will be dispatched on the 25th of March. The same date was mentioned by the person issuing the receipt, and said that I should get the passport at my present address, in a day or two after the said date of dispatch. On visiting the status enquiry page of the website http://164.100.17.25/passmain.php?city=hyd it shows that the "Police Report has not been received" against the file number mentioned above, even though, I had submitted a verification certificate ( Annexure F ), along with my application, which was issued by The Inspector General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, CID. I have also tried to contact the offices via the phone numbers mentioned in the web page, but am unable to get through and speak to a person regarding this issue.I would be greatly obliged if you could let me know the status my application. I have applied for my pass port in 2009 with application "No:hyd-z[protected]", but i didn't received my pass port till now.
I want to know the problem for delay.if there is no problem please dispatch my pass port as early as possible.
