I regret to say that the Passport Office is in a dormant stage.

Though the police enquiry was over on 17th Nov, 2009, shockingly I haven't recd the renewed passport till date.

In normal stage, an applicant is expected to receive the updated copy within 45 days.

I join other applicants, who have had their share of problems, in condemning the take-it-easy attitude of Passport.

They charge Rs.1000 per applicant and behave with the applicants with high handedness.

It would be fine if the Ministry of External Affairs comes out with a strong mechanism, to sort out the passport blues.

Each time when I opened the website of passport to check the application status, the stereo type message played out is 'Due to unavoidable circumstanes, the passport could not be delivered and it will be delivered in a week time'.

It is shame on the part of the passport office, Hyd people, to work in this manner.

I request the Hyd passport officer to view my compliant seriously and take steps to send it to my residence address at an earlest date.

My Name is N.V.Srinivasa Rao, my file number is Z506009. My passport police verification has been done 6 months back but still its not updated in the site. Kindly look into this..

I applied for the renewal of my passport through e-seva Kukatpally on Dec 29, 2009 (File No.HYDL[protected]. The status on website indicates "police report has not been received." The police had come for verification on January 16, 2010. I am surprised that the police has not submitted the report yet (probably because we did not grease the palms!). I have not yet received my renewed passport till date and it is about 3 months! If renewal of passport takes 3 months, how much time will it take for fresh issue of passport? I think fresh issue of passport under "Tatkal" scheme is faster than renewal! This is really irritating and avoidable issue by the Passport Authorities!

It is sick dealing with Hyderabad Passport office as we have been waiting for passport renewal since last six months. So far there is no communication from passport office and more over we are not able to retrieve status of our passports in the passport office website by referring our file numbers.

Now it looks like we are marching towards olden age and there is no value for high tech machinary and competerization.

Regional Passport Office, Hyderabad — Delay of Passport, submitted in October 2009

Passport application was submitted on Oct 15 2009 and the police verification is complete also this was updated on the status inquiry website.. however ever since the passport has not been dispatched a personal details form was submitted twice at the passport office to ensure there is no delay I am a student and I need the passport ASAP so i can appear for a certain exam this has resulted in wasting one academic year already.

I have taken passport from HYD-RPO on 1998. Now I am in bangalore from june -2009. My Permanent address is there in my passport (AP Addres).

Issues:
1) My passort expired on 08/2008. Please let me know where can i renew, which address I need to submit?
2) I need to add my wife’s and kid’s in passport what is the procedure, and what are the required doccuments?
3) As per my educational certificates (including SSC) My name is SREENIVASA but In my passport it was written SRINIVASA . So I wanted to correct Please let me know the procedure?
4) Is it possible to renew it in Bangalore Passport office?

passport office, Hyderabad — Passport renewal not done

Hi,

I have submitted my passport (File no; HYDL[protected] for renewal in September, 2011 and Police Verification was done in October, 2011. I tried to check my status online and the website says that the Information is wrong and that there is no file by the number that I was given.
Despite waiting for such a long time, there is no trace of my passport. I request the authorities to please issue my passport at the earliest.
