[Resolved]  Regional Passport Office, Visakhapatnam — Delay in Passport VSP X003291

Dear sir(s),
I have applied for a surname change,inclusion of spouse name,change of address on 1st Apr 2011.
The police verification is done in the second week of April. From then on whenever i go to the passport office VISAKHAPATANAM, they always send me saying that i would get the passport in the next week. Half an year passed with the same answer. Even i logged a complaint in mail, there is no appropriate action taken till now.
I even requested them to grant me permission to take the passport by hand, as i am now in a desperate need of my passport. I have been apart from my spouse six months and i need to join him as soon as possible. But no seems to be bothered about my concerns. As a citizen of India I have every right to log a complaint against any official.

Please register a complaint and do the needful.
