I had the Big TV installed late Sept, the installation was not done properly my LCD tv screen is 50", I was told by the engineer that due to larger screen size the grains are showing and in a day or so the picture quality would improve as the installation was impacted by cloudy sky. It took them more than 4 hours to install. Since then I had been chasing and chasing, the engineer came once in Late October and advised us to try the changes he has done, but again to no difference. The complaint has been closed and no further compliant is being entertained. Each time call to 1 800 number is lasting more than 20 mins and only assurance is given that some one will visit in 48 hrs. There Gugaon based franchise (Mr. Satish) states it is not possible to improve picture quality due to Larger LCD screen. I had been asking to refund the money and take away setup box and cancel subscription, but to no avail. I even told them that I am left with only option viz to take the matter to consumer court. It seems there are many people impacted by poor service levels.
Anyone willing to share the poor service, please respond to join the complaint with consumer court. I have had enough for last 3 months of poor picture quality (like used video tape), there are times when even the faces of the person is not visible properly. IS there any law or anyone from Reliance listening that they are forcing me and my familty to watch rubbish tv for last 3 months and I have reached a level that I feel like being harrased and captive to Reliance disgraced product.
