Reliance - CDMA — Excessive Billing After Service deactivation

My name is Bibhu and am residing at Patiala Punjab. I was using the reliance postpaid services since its inception. My no was [protected] in Punjab. After joining in my new job at Patiala, i got a company cell with reliance services ( No. [protected]).

I continued using reliance ([protected]) till july 2008 and then cancelled it in last week of July 2008 as i lost that cell during attending a official party. Till July 08 all the bills were duly paid for this no and i never ever delayed in paying the bill during all these years.

In the month of Aug'08 i did not receive any bill and i thought as i have cancelled the connection, there is no due as such.

In the month of sept'08, i received the bill and it was with two month's advance rental.
Then i called up reliance customer care and made them understood the entire story and also it was conveyed to me that all the billings were done wrongly and would be reversed in the next statement.

In 1st week of Oct'08, one of the reliance guy visited me and asked for bill payment and he was carrying a bill of Rs 440/- which was again higher than the previus month. I spoke to his boss as per his request and asked him to convince me about the bill charges which he could not. Then he asked me wheather ir-respective of everything, i am going to pay the bills or not in a rude way and i stopped talking him.

Then that guy called me in the evening and told me that due to non payment of the bills, he is cancelling my corporate connection ([protected]) and it would remain cancelled till the payments are being made.

I spoke to my office and got it again activated after 3 days for my office no([protected])

Now today i received a legal notice from Reliance to pay the bills and i am being haraased by these reliance guys since last week.

Pls do something on this or advice.
