Reliance Communications — Activation of value added services with out my concern | |
Dear Sir, I am using the Reliance prepaid mobile no.[protected] from a long time. Just 2 days back, my mobile balance was become zero (0), I am sure the balance should be around Rs.30. I called to the customer care and inquired about the reason. Thesy said that Rs. 30 was deducted as part of some value added service subscription. I said, I never subscribed to any value added service on my mobile by any means upto now. They said it was activated over net and running from a long time. I don't know how it was get activated with out my concern. I asked them to provide any proof like the IP address of the PC from where it was initiated to make it active. But, they said they didn't have that information. My concern is, how they activate the value added services on your mobile with out your permisiion and confirmation. How can I get my money what ever I lost upto now? Resquests you to order the TRAI to enforce some policy on the telecom companies to send an SMS to the customer and take SMS confirmation from the customer to activate such kind of value added services.
