[Resolved] Reliance Communications — Deactivation of a mobile number | |
There was a mobile number of one of my friends who is a businessman and was going to Rajasthan for holidays with family. He gave me the money to deposit the dues of his two post-paid reliance mobile numbers. The due money was deposited by me at Reliance Webworld centre at Silvassa, D & NH on 1st Nov'08 however the mobile number [protected] got deactivated. On this number, my friend was to receive international calls. After a marathon and repeated calls for 2 hrs, we came to know that someone has lodged a complaint of lost mobile against this number. God knows who and with what credentials? (I really find it hard to digest that there was such a complaint as earlier I was being told that the due payment had not been deposited). Anyways, now I was told by some Mr Bharat at Mumbai customer care that the number can be activated only after providing valid address proofs to any Reliance web world or CC centre. I really feel very embarrassed as i was the person who was given responsibility of depositing the money. I also feel guilty for the business loss of my friend on account of not receiving international business calls. Was this information helpful? | |
