[Resolved] Reliance Communications — Missguided the Customer through promotional calls and SMS | |
Dear Sir, My name is Harvinder Singh I am a regular customer of reliance Communication. This month I faced one problem from your company which leads me to bear loss of 1000 Rs. On 12th of October 2009, I purchased one STD free prepaid voucher of 999 Rs. Then on 18th October, 2009 I got one promotional call for "Simply Reliance" offer in which was of 48 Rs and it was mentioned that "Simply Reliance Who will offer you STD, local calls and SMS at 50 paise for life without any conditions? Simply Reliance... Now call any mobile or any landline, on any network, anytime anywhere in India for just 50 paise. What's more, there are no vouchers, no monthly charges, no conditions, Simple, isn't it?" This means there is no condition applied on buying this special voucher and it was not mentioned that my Reliance to Reliance STD free offer will be finished if I fill simply reliance voucher in my mobile. The moment I purchased that simply reliance prepaid voucher, my reliance to reliance free offer was superseded by this 48 Rs voucher. Due to which the balance available in my mobile got finished as I was in impression that my mobile is reliance to reliance free. I talked to customer care in this regard so many times but I did not got any good response. This is totally a case of miss guiding a customer, as without informing customer you are sending promotional calls which are not of his use and also no proper information was given to a customer when he or she is buying a prepaid voucher.
