Reliance Communications — Data cArd termination

I hold a net connect data card ( No. – [protected]) under my name. the data card was originally under the name of my father, Mr. Jagdish Behl till July 2012. I have put a request for cancellation in July as my father has left his job the data card expenses were reimbursed by his company.

After I placed request for cancellation, I keep on receiving calls from Reliance call center to retain this number at some lower monthly rental. After some calls they gave us the option to transfer the number to anyone in blood relation. After inquiring that the same will take Rs.500 as transfer charges, we again refused and told your guys to transfer. Again we received call one day that the transfer can be done free of cost because being a old client . We finally agreed to transfer to my name and went to your store in DLF Galleria market, Gurgaon and deposited all documents in August. We were told to clear all the old dues and we have paid Rs 900 in lieu of that.

Surprisingly in October's the transfer charges of Rs.500 are generated. When contacted your call center, they refused to agree to explanation and told me to tell the name of person whom I discussed and earlier records.

Sir, as you are aware, no one can record such a telephonic discussions and recall the names of your call center guys after 3-4 months. As I am not receiving any response for your call center team, request to please resolve this matter appropriately.

I made a bill payment of Rs 270.00 on October 26th' 2012 against regular statements and requested Reliance to waive the addtional expense of Rs. 500.

Surprisingly I received an email on October 29th' 2012 that my data card number is terminated. I request to please push Reliance to activate my number and waive of these additional charges.

Reliance Communications — Payments due even after cancellation of datacard

I have a datacard from Reliance. Even after terminating the card two times they still keep sending bills. They keep giving false assurances that the card is terminated.

Currently a bill of Rs. 793/- is pending, which was generated after the card was terminated. Now, even though the card is terminated, we are receiving threatening calls from Reliance to pay up this amount.

Their customer service is pathetic and their Call Centre just does what the name suggests! Take calls and do nothing about it!.

I have decided to pay up the 793/- otherwise I will receive a legal notice shortly as has happened to some of my friends.

Please stay away from this chor company as much as possible.
