[Resolved] Reliance Communications — Prepaid number Money Deduction | |||
Hi my name is Arun Balyan. My dad Omvir singh and my mom Ashok Rani both are using reliance connection (CDMA numbers). My dad used to recieve calls to for ringtones but he disconnected the call everytime he got the call. at the end of last year i.e november 2010 there was some deduction in the balance, we did not recieve any message that why the money has been deducted or which service has been activated. as my dad recharge the no. in lumsum and we do not check the balance every day. when we got to knew about this, i called the cmr service and the told them about this, they said that there were 2-3 services which were activated by us, one was job search. i told tham that we did not offered the service and my dad do not attend those call, i also said to refund the money but they said that i should have called them within 72hrs. then i asked them to activate the DO NOT DISTURB on that no. which was on 3rd jan. again on 19th and 23rd feb the balance was deducted from my dad cell. when i called them they said that we pressed some no. when we recieved some promotional call, so i pointed out that we activated D.N.D. on the no. so how can we recieve any promotional call, then the agent apologised and said that it wont happen again. i said there is a lot of money which has been deducted in the past and a lot of fake promise has been done too, then the agent said that he will send a request and we might get a money back, which has not happened yet and we have not even recieved any call or message from reliance communication regarding this till yet. A same incidence happend with my mom's no. as my mom left the job we do not recharge the no quiet often but as we did it a week or 2 back of Rs.111. The next the day the money was reduced to Rs.16. When i Called them up they said some services were activated which the agent deactivated. I pointed out that we did not even recieve any text message so that we could get to know of the that deduction and we could call for the reimbursement, but he said nothin can be done as 72hrs are passed but he said that he will send a request to senior dept.. So i asked him to activate D.N.D. on that no. aswell but we have not got any conformation for the D.N.D. activation and that request.
